    Park Tudor School

    Strategic Management Plan

    PT 2015

There is no better time for planning than when a

school is in a position of strength, and such is the

case for Park Tudor School today. The schools

identity as a coeducational JK through grade 12day school is now forty years old and is built upon

a foundation of excellence that spans more than a

century. Park Tudor enjoys a national reputation

for its outstanding college preparatory program,

    extraordinary co-curricular offerings and

commitment to service learning and character

development. The schools success is built on a

foundation that includes exceptional educators, a

proactive Board, sound nancial management and

a dedicated parent body. This Strategic Management Plan began with a

thorough survey of all Park Tudor constituents and

a review of the accomplishments made under the

current operating plan, PT 2010. The two-year

planning effort involved board, faculty, parents and

    consultants. Community meetings (town halls)

were held as the plan took shape in order to garneras much input as possible. The timing of the plan

is fortuitous in that it coincides with the schools

re-accreditation process by the Independent Schools

Association of the Central States (ISACS), as well as

the transition to a new Head of School as the cur-

rent Head retires after a successful nine-year tenure.

This strategic management plan puts forward goals

that are clearly mission-based and attainable, yet

exible enough to include nal recommendations

from the ISACS Visiting Committee and the newlyformed school administration. The major ve-year

goals presented here will be the framework for

annual goals set and measured by the Board, Head

of School and all faculty and staff.
