Everyone (excluding visitors who park in metered spaces or areas) must obtain and display a permit to park anywhere on campus at any time. Short-term and temporary permits are available for those with short-term business on campus or for students who must switch out cars for any reason, e.g., using their parents’ car.• A portion of the Brooks Center parking lot is reserved for non- student and non-employee patrons during special events (see designation lot C-11).• Please note: Any vehicle, person or permit with three or more past-due citations may not park on campus.• In the event your vehicle breaks down in an unauthorized space or you need to load or unload near a building, you should contact Parking & Transportation Services during business hours or the Clemson University Police Department after hours for special permission and assistance.• Clemson operates under revised parking regulations on game days. Check the Athletics website and Game Day information on the Parking & Transportation website for more information.• If you park anywhere other than a marked space, your vehicle may be towed.• Towed vehicles may be retrieved 24/7 from the Clemson University Police Department.• Rules are enforced year-round, including days when classes are not in session.• All unexpired parking permits and decals remain the property of Clemson University. Any person to whom a decal has been issued shall remove the decal from the vehicle when the vehicle is sold or traded. Failure to do so will result in citations being automatically linked to your account.

RESIDENT East, West and Douthit Resident lot parking assignments are based on your housing assignment. Please review the Parking and Transportation Services website for parking lot designations.The Resident Student permit is valid for parking in the following areas (except when reserved for special events):• East Resident: Student lots (white parking lines in “R” lots) including R-1, R-2, McMillan Road, R-4 ext. and R-6. COMMUTER PARK-N-RIDEEast and West Park-N-Ride locations are now available. Your assigned lot is based on the permit selected at the time of purchase. Your permit can be used to park on campus according to commuter parking regulations beginning at 4:30 p.m.-2 a.m. on weekdays and from 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays until 7 a.m. on Mondays. (Official Use permits are only valid during this time.) When Park-N-Ride shuttles are suspended, your permit can be used to park on campus according to commuter permit regulations.Permit is not valid for parking in the following areas at any time:- “Reserved” Spaces (e.g., carpool, CarShare or LEV).- “24 HR” employee spaces.- Service vehicle spaces.- Loading and unloading spaces.- Reserved athletic event parking areas beginning 12 hours prior to the start of home football or basketball games- Spaces that are smaller than the vehicle- Metered spaces Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m.- Any valid permit lot (P-1, P-1 ext. and P-4) Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m.THE DECAL MUST BE DISPLAYED INSIDE THE FRONT WINDSHIELD’S LOWER LEFT-HAND CORNER (DRIVER’S SIDE) AND IS REPOSITIONABLE BETWEEN VEHICLES.

GRAD ASSISTANTIF ALL COMMUTER LOTS ARE FULL, STUDENTS CAN ALSO PARK IN OTHER SPACES AND AREAS DESIGNATED AS ANY VALID PERMIT.The Graduate Assistant permit is valid for parking in the following areas (except when reserved for special events):• Unrestricted employee (green parking lines, no “24 HR” pavement marking) 3:30 p.m.-7 a.m., Monday-Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday-7 a.m. Monday (excluding E-1 and E-6) • Commuting lots and areas (orange parking lines) 4 a.m.-2:30 a.m. the following morning (unless otherwise posted)• Park-N-Ride lots and areas (P-5, P-6 and P-7) 4 a.m.-2 a.m. the following morning• Timed areas (white parking lines with time limit, “TIMED” or “METERED” pavement marking) subject to posted time limit or time remaining on meter 7 a.m.-10 p.m., no restrictions 10 p.m.-7 a.m.• Visitor lots and areas (white parking lines with “VISITOR” pavement marking) 9 p.m.-7 a.m.• Students are not authorized to park in red-lined service vehicle spaces or areas at any time.

MOTORCYCLE/MOPED• Everyone must obtain and display a parking permit to park a motorcycle or moped anywhere on campus at any time.• Motorcycles and mopeds may only park in designated motorcycle and moped parking areas.ON MOTORCYCLES, THE DECAL SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY AFFIXED TO THE LEFT FRONT FORK. ON MOPEDS, THE DECAL SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY AFFIXED TO THE REAR WHEEL COVER. CARPOOL INFORMATION Clemson University students, faculty and staff with similar schedules at least four days per week may apply for the carpool program. Perks include:• Preferred parking.• Reduced permit fees.• FREE permits for groups of three or more participants. For permit guidelines, carpool group applications and more information, visit clemson.edu/parking.

DAILY PARKING PERMITS Students, faculty and staff who regularly walk, bike or take transit to campus may purchase daily parking permits for $3/day when vehicle access is needed. Purchase online at clemson.edu/parking, print and display on dashboard.

METERED PARKINGVisitors and Clemson University parking permit holders (CUPH) may pay to park in the designated multi-space metered areas under these guidelines:• Everyone (excluding visitors who park in metered spaces) must obtain and display a permit to park anywhere on campus at any time.• Hours of Operation: 7 a.m.–10 p.m., seven days a week.• Visitors – No permit required: “Three-Hour Visitor Meter Limit” or as otherwise posted.• CUPH: park for the “One-Hour CU Permit Limit” or as otherwise posted. Please note: some meters are for “Visitors Only” and may not be used by a CUPH.

ACCESSIBLE PARKINGAnyone who displays a state-issued disability parking permit in order to park on the campus of Clemson University is required to register the permit with the Parking and Transportation Services office prior to use on campus. Students, faculty, staff and vendors are required to purchase and display a campus parking permit, even when displaying a disability access parking permit. The request to register the state-issued permits prior to use is expected to reduce the incident of unauthorized use, thereby increasing access to disability access parking space by legitimate users. Please contact Parking and Transportation Services to register your ADA permit.

Student temporary disability permits, valid up to four weeks, may be obtained with prior approval from Student Accessibility Services (SAS). To obtain approval for a temporary permit, please first call SAS at 864-656-6848 or visit them in Suite 239 in the Class of '56 Academic Success Center. 

Employee temporary disability permits may be obtained with prior approval from the Office of Access and Equity. To obtain approval for a temporary permit, please call the Office of Access and Equity at 864-656-3553 or visit them in 223 Brackett Hall. Parking and Transportation Services does not review or accept any medical documentation.

BROOKS CENTER EVENT RESERVED PARKINGBeginning at 6 p.m., all visitors to the Brooks Center may park in orange spaces in lot C-11 directly south of the building. Parking spaces with the logo (known as Patron’s Row) are reserved for donors. Please note: towing commences two hours before each

EMPLOYEE PARK-N-RIDEEast and West Park-N-Ride locations are now available.Your assigned lot is based on the permit selected at the time of purchase. Your permit can be used to park on campus in unrestricted employee, meter or commuter parking spaces beginning at 4:30 p.m.-7 a.m. on weekdays and from 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays until 7 a.m. on Mondays. (Official Use Permits are only valid during this time.) HOME VARSITY FOOTBALL RESERVED PARKINGTwelve hours prior to the start of all home varsity football games, every vehicle must be removed from all numbered parking spaces on campus. Reserved areas include, but are not limited to: C-1, C-2, C-2A, C-3, C-4, C-5, C-7, C-8, C-9, C-11, C-12, C-13, C-15, E-1, E-2, E-3, E-4, E-5, E-6, E-7, E-8, E-9, E-12, E-13, E-14, E-15, E-16, E-21, E-22, E-24, E-26, E-27, E-29, P-1, P-1 Ext., P-2, P-3, P-4, R-3, Ravenel Rd., Alumni Circle, Avenue of Champions, Calhoun Dr., Centennial Blvd., Cherry Rd., Daniel Dr., Fort Hill St., Fernow St., (including the Lee Hall cul-de-sac) North Palmetto Blvd., Williamson Rd., Heisman St., Press Rd., Parkway Dr., Kappa St., and South Palmetto Blvd.

Parking is reserved on game days for working employees in a portion of E-1 and parking areas adjacent to Newman Hall and rear of Redfern Health Center.
