Which Image would you like to display to your clients? In most cases the largest Capital Asset other than the building is the Parking Lot, and the condition of the parking lot clearly reflects the condition of the business.

• The cost of necessary repairs also escalates by the type of

repair. • Crack Sealing is relatively inexpensive ($0.55 per Lin. Ft.) • An Overlay will cost from $9.00 up to $12.00 per Sq. Yd. but

usually requires some preparation (crack seal, repairs and rotomilling for drainage).

• Waiting to long will require an interlayer under the overlay adding an additional $2.00 to $6.00 per Sq. Yd.

• Patching or Reconstruction will cost $25.00 to $45.00 per Sq. Yd.

• Most Parking Lots will only allow 1 overlay without completing a full rotomill to the depth of the overlay, due to drainage, so

Overlay Preparation

Will this lot hold up to Rotomilling And truck traffic for an overlay???

Overlaying an existing lot will require preparation of the existing asphalt to obtain a long lasting overlay.

Alligatored areas should be repaired, cracks should be cracksealed, and rotomilling should be completed to preserve drainage.

Don’t wait until your asphalt will not hold up to heavy construction traffic.

NOTE Rotomilling a parking lot removes some of the structural strength of the asphalt and places a lot of stress on the lot which can result in a lot of unplanned repairs.
