Parkinson’s care is complex. Currently there are few tools available that enable people with Parkinson’s to track their own symptoms. MedEngine hopes to open the door to new approaches to Parkinson’s care. This is why we built a watch along with a mobile phone app to help you monitor your Parkinson’s symptoms wherever you are. Fly tta Our watch, with its companion mobile app, allows for continuous tracking of motor symptoms together with non-motor symptoms. Our combined technology gathers motion information to record tremors and works as a personal diary for you to note down your other symptoms, as well as setting useful medication reminders. Using this information we can provide you with the tools you need to better monitor your own condition. You can also share these insights with your nurse, doctor or other caregiver. User Testing

User TestingAfter many months of hard work we have now created our first prototype. Before we run a beta test at the end of the summer, we just need your input to help us test the mobile app, then tell us what works for you and what could still be improved!

For these testing sessions, we are actively looking for volunteers who feel confident using a smartphone or a tablet. These will be around 45 minutes to an hour and will be held at the location of your choice or at a designated venue. You will then be signed up to the waiting list where you will get to wear the watch and receive the app until we launch our final product. Then, you will receive the updated version of both as a reward to your support.
