• In this section we are going to discuss about

the Parle products. As we know that in the

world of biscuits, candies and toffees the

most popular name is Parle. Here, we also

going to introduce you with the history,

future planning, and marketing strategies.

History

Parle Products company was founded in 1929 in British

India. It was owned by the Chauhan family of Vile Parle,

Mumbai. Parle began manufacturing biscuits in 1939. In

1947, when India became independent, the company

launched an ad campaign, showcasing its Gluco biscuits

as an Indian alternative to the British biscuits.[2] The Parle

brand became well known in India following the success

of products such as the Parle-G biscuits and the Thums Up

soft drink.

• To promote their products, parle’s management staff adoptsome marketing strategies. These are as follows:

1. Pricing strategies: all the products of parle in the marketsold at a very reasonable price which help them to promotetheir products.
