Gathered at each Mass, we are like the crowd in today’s Gospel, sitting at the feet of Jesus and seeking direction through his Word and spiritual nourishment through the Eucharist. Placing our hope in God and striving to lead virtuous lives, we look toward salvation and eternal life, and are reminded that we are all called to be saints.

Adoration du Très Saint-Sacrement Le premier vendredi du mois, nous aurons l’adoration du Saint-Sacrement dans l’église entre 9h et 11h. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament On the first Friday of the month, parishioners are invited to spend some quiet time in prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration will take place following morning mass in the church, beginning at 9:00 am until 11:00 am on November 6th. A sign-up sheet will ensure that someone will always be in prayer before the Lord.
Upcoming Maronite Rite Ordination On Saturday, November 21 at St. Peter's Maronite Catholic Church in Windsor, Deacon John Shiha (formerly of Ste. Anne's church in Tecumseh) will be ordained as a priest in the Maronite Catholic rite, led by Bishop Paul Marwen Tabet. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance is by invitation only. Bishop Fabbro will be attending for the Diocese of London. Please keep Deacon Shiha and his family in your prayers as he completes his journey into the priesthood.

Marriage Preparation with Catholic Engaged Encounter
This pandemic has caused all of us to rethink and refocus our way of doing our particular ministries. For engaged couples needing marriage preparation in the fall, we are offering the same proven Catholic Engaged
Encounter weekend program using ZOOM as our medium. We believe that the CEE program best meets the criteria for the times and the couples of this generation. This virtual weekend will be offered at a district level (Ontario, English Quebec, Maritimes) on November 7-8, 2020. “Come and See” Virtual Weekends
Due to the Pandemic, this year's Come and See will be a virtual experience. This online retreat is planned for three separate Saturdays and each has an individual topic and theme. Nov 14th from 7 p.m. -10 p.m. (Discernment) Nov 21st from 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Priesthood) Nov 28th from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. (Seminary) This retreat is for single, Catholic men 17 years of age and older, that are in good health and psychological maturity, and are considering a call to priestly life and service. If you are interested or know any other men that may be interested in discerning a priestly vocation or open to attend the Come and See, please have them email [email protected]. Annual Collection for Our Parish Cemeteries: During the month of November, we honour the deceased. One way we can honour them would be to make a monetary contribution to one of our 4 cemeteries. Envelopes for that purpose can be found in your box of Offertory envelopes or simply take any envelope, write your name on it and clearly indicate to which cemetery you wish your donation to go to. Cheques must be made payable to Visitation Parish, so that the amount being donated can be added to your income tax receipt at the end of the year.
