POSITIVE DIFFERENCE CAMPAIGN
NOW through Erev Yom Kippur, Sunday morning, our shul is running a unique matching campaign. Here's how it works:
For every dollar you donate above your gift last year between now and Erev Yom Kippur, your additional gift funds will be matched and doubled (up to $10,000 for the whole shul) by a select group of shul members so that we can hit and exceed our fundraising goals. Items to be aware of:
Only those who gave to last year's Yom Kippur Appeal are eligible for
the match.
If you've already donated to this year's Yom Kippur Appeal, thank you!
You can add to your donation during this matching period to take
advantage of the match.
Only donations during this period are match eligible.
Don't let this opportunity get away! Click here to donate.
Davening times for Yom Kippur can be found on page 4.

SHUL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Congregation Beth Aaron is always looking for ways to improve the content and delivery of our shul communi-cations. We recognize that some of our members prefer to receive their shul information through alternative means to that of the traditional email. Our initial CBA Announce-ments WhatsApp group is at capacity. To allow all mem-bers access to this immediate form of communication, we've started a second group, which will receive the same exact messages, and function the same way as the initial group. If you are already signed up for the original group, you do not need to do anything further. If you're not on the original one, please visit https://chat.whatsapp.com/FEWiaFNhYGTIqwboXs6SHI from your smartphone.
Consider joining our “virtual buddy” program. You will be matched with someone else in our community whom you will have the opportunity to connect and provide friendship and support. Rabbi Rothwachs asks that each of our mem-bers sign up for an additional buddy. Sign up here.
VIRTUAL CHAVRUSA PROGRAM
If you would like to be introduced or matched with some-one else in the community who would be looking for a vir-tual chavrusa, please fill out a form by clicking on the fol-lowing link https://forms.gle/f4XwExK2LqxpfWK17.
Morris Zimmerman, a long-time member of Beth Aaron, is living at Care One at Teaneck. He would very much like to receive phone calls as he has been isolated in his room for several months (no visitors allowed). He can be contacted at 201-287-8605 (Room 201).
Dedicate a day of learning at Beth Aaron on the occasion of a yahrtzeit, in the zechut of a refuah shelaima, or in honor of a simcha, a birthday or any other occasion. Each week’s dedi-cations are sent out to the membership via email. For more information, or to sign up, please go to www.bethaaron.org/parnashayom.
Last week’s Parnas Hayom sponsors were:
Friday, 7 Tishrei, Evie & Alden Leifer, commemorating
the yahrtzeit of Alden's brother, Noah Leifer, Nachman Moshe ben Chaim.
This week’s Parnas Hayom sponsors are:
Shabbat, 8 Tishrei, Arlene & Michael Sand, commemo-

Aside from reaching our financial and operational goals, the campaign also focuses on reaching our communal goal, which is 100% participation. THANK YOU Leora and I wanted to extend our heartfelt feelings of gratitude to the Beth Aaron community for all your support and kindness in connection with my mother’s recent passing. This has really helped to ease the difficult burden upon me and my family during this trying time. We are privileged to be part of this special community.
We wish you a Shana Tova and a G’mar Chasima Tova.
Leora and Nati Sulimanoff
Good Erev Shabbos, We hope everyone had a special and meaningful Rosh Hashanah. It was great to hear all the positive feedback, and that despite some technical challenges we were all able to enjoy the Chag in new and inspiring ways. We thank the East, Eis, Eizikovitz, Klavan, Levart, Zell, and Anonymous families for their minyan sponsorships, as well as the Eizikovitz, Metzger, Presby, Schnaidman, Singer, and Yaros families for hosting Yamim Nora’im minyanim and pro-grams at their homes. As we now look to Shabbat Shuva and to Yom Kippur immediately afterwards, we have a few reminders to help pre-pare for this weekend. For those who have not yet done Hatarat Nedarim, we will be offering another Zoom based session at 10AM on Sun-day. Please see the announcements for the link. Please also remember to do Tashlich if you have not done so al-ready. Erev Yom Kippur Mincha Minyanim are listed on the Minyan Signup portal with indoor and outdoor options at 2PM and 4PM. Please register in advance for those minyanim. Machzorim for Yom Kippur will be available in the shul lobby. We ask that you hold on to the borrowed Machzorim until after the chag, and return them with your borrowed Selichot and Rosh Hashanah Machzorim. Please be aware that there have been several changes to the Minyanim and seating assignments for Yom Kippur. Indoor minyan A and outdoor minyan K are no longer being offered, and a new outdoor minyan M is now in the schedule. Please click here for the link to the new minyan details and minyan assignment lists. We ask that you re-view carefully, as changes have been made in a number of cases, both generally as well as in response to the min-yan offering changes noted above. The perek on the Lawn shiur with Jason David will be given on Shabbos at 11:30am for Kindergarten through 5th grade at the Metzger backyard, 250 Merrison Street. Advanced registration is required. Rabbi Rothwachs will be giving his Shabbos Shuva drasha “Exposing the Roots: What 5780 Taught Us About Our-selves” virtually on Motzei Shabbos at 8:45pm. Please see the announcements for details. This year’s Yom Kippur Appeal is now in full swing, and we are excited to announce the ‘Positive Difference Cam-paign’, which will be active until Erev Yom Kippur. Every dollar you donate in this timeframe that is above the amount of your gift last year, will be matched and doubled by a group of our shul members. We thank those members for their commitment to helping strengthen our Yom Kippur Appeal, and we thank each of you for taking advantage of this amazing opportunity to help reinforce the success of this year’s appeal. Thank you to this past week’s and this coming week’s Parnas Hayom sponsors:
Friday, 7 Tishrei, Evie & Alden Leifer, commemorating the yahrtzeit of Alden's brother, Noah Leifer, Nachman Moshe ben Chaim.
