Two Views About Authority

Retain all that was not expressly contradicted by scripture.

Abolish all that could not be proved by the scripture.

Is Permissive Is Prohibitive

Concept is Biblical

“If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God.” 1 Pet. 4:11

“If the Bible does not condemn it I can do it” - then there is no end to what people can do

We must serve God in His appointed Way !

He cannot be angry He will not punish the wicked He is not a God of vengeance

Ignore the authority of GodWant to do things their way…
