1st Issue.
The contractor submits a brick sample for approval during the
site meeting. It was only the brick.
The architect received it but didn’t approve it. There are certain
circumstances that the contractor needs to do which is any
material submitted must have a quality assurance and standard as
per PAM form of contract clause 6.1
Standard of works, materials, workmanship and goods.
In these case, contractor need to attach the brick submission with
manufacturer warranty, Approved and updated Bomba certificates
(for Party wall), and submission letter.
If the material approved it is safe and recommended to put it
inside the site office for easy reference and record.
