FOR A NEW PLAYGROUND FOR PS198/PS77! Monday March 27 th 7-10 am Outside the school entrance Would you vote to have part of a million dollars spent to benefit our schools? On Monday March 27 th Vote and use your voice to decide how your tax dollars are spent. Councilman Ben Kallos has set aside $1 million in capital funds under the participatory budgeting program to go toward improvement projects on the Upper East Side. — and YOU get to choose which projects to fund this spring. Starting Saturday March 23rd, residents of District 5 who are 14 and older can vote on which proposals should receive the money. This year our school is on the ballot. We have asked for $500,000 to fund renovations of the small playground and the “L” next to the entrance of PS198. This would include new equipment, more seating, improved landscaping and renewed soft flooring. We need you to vote and get the word out to your neighbors to vote.
