What is the Learning Hub?

The Learning Hub is the SuccessFactors Learning Management System that

hosts all course content available to partners and customers.

You must complete all course content and the final exam to successfully

complete the course in the Learning Hub.

You may download a completion report from the Links and/or Learning History

portlets within Learning Content.

How do I self-assign Learning Hub courses?

1. Log into the Learning Hub.

2. From the main navigation menu in the upper left-hand corner, select Learning

Content.

3. Use the Find Courses keyword search to search for a SuccessFactors product.

4. You may also click the link to Browse all titles, filter by the CLOUD subject

area, then filter by the SuccessFactors subject area.

5. Click the title of a course you’d like to join.

6. On the next page, select the button titled, Add to Learning Plan, then thebutton to Start Course will be available.

7. You may start the course now, or access the course at any time from the My

Active Courses pod in the Learning Content section of the Learning Hub.

What are Learning Rooms?

Learning Rooms are created with the SAP Jam product and support the coursecontent by providing the following supplemental information:

Live training sessions with instructor demos and Q&A for select courses

Quarterly release Delta information

Forums for configuration questions where partners collaborate together on solutions,in addition to instructors being available to answer questions

Product-specific video tutorials

Standard and advanced reporting video tutorials

Supplemental job aids

Sample XML data models & DTDs

Links to resource websites where implementation support materials are posted



How do I self-assign Learning Rooms?

Please note:

It may take up to 1 hour for your access to process, and you will see the “bell” in the

upper right-hand corner of the page turn red to notify that you have successfully joined a

new Learning Room.

Email notifications will not be sent.

Step-by-step instructions to join Learning Rooms are listed on the following slide.

How do I self-assign Learning Rooms?

1. Purchase a paid Learning Hub subscription from https://training.sap.com/shop/learninghub .

2. Log into the Learning Hub.

3. From the main navigation menu in the upper left-hand corner, select Learning Content.

4. Type Learning Room in the Find Courses keyword search field and click Go.

5.Click the title of a Learning Room you’d like to join.

6. On the next page, select the button titled, Add to Learning Plan, then the button to StartCourse will become available.

7. Accept the Terms and Conditions.

8. After assigning a Learning Room, it may take up to 1 hour for your request to process.

After approximately 1 hour, you will see the “bell” icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen turn red to notifythat you have successfully joined a Learning Room.

There are no email notifications.

9. From the main navigation menu, select Learning Rooms.

10. From the Groups drop-down menu, click the Learning Room you joined to access allsupplemental materials and support resources available.

Complete Academy Training

Successfully



How do I complete SuccessFactors courses successfully?

1. Self-assign Learning Hub course content.

2. Self-assign the corresponding Learning Room that will support you throughout

the course.

3. Complete all content in the Learning Hub for a particular course.

Launch each item in the list of content to download files, watch videos, complete simulations, andtake quizzes.

Items are complete when a green checkmark is displayed with the date of completion.

3. Complete the final exam listed at the end of the course content in the Learning

Hub.

Exams in the Learning Hub are not timed and have between 25 and 30 questions.

Exams in the Learning Hub allow unlimited attempts if the SAP Certified Application Associateexam for a product has been released to the Certification Hub.

If the SAP Certified Application Associate exam has not been released to the Certification Hub for a

product, the Learning Hub exam will lock after three failed attempts because this exam grants

certification until the SAP exam is released to the Certif ication Hub.

Get Certified



How do I get certified?

1. Complete the SuccessFactors Academy training course in the Learning Hub. (see previousslides)

2. Navigate to https://training.sap.com/shop/certification/ to register for a Certification in theCloud subscription.

3. In the pod titled “Access to Certification Hub”, click the link to Subscribe.

4. The price of the Certification in the Cloud subscription will be displayed in your local currency.

5. Click the Add to Basket button, and the Proceed to Checkout button on the following page topurchase your subscription.

6. After purchasing a subscription, you may take the certification exam from any location with aremote proctor.

Recommendation: Verify your course has a live certification exam before purchasing a subscription. Check

your product Learning Room, because all SuccessFactors Learning Rooms have a list of exams that are

currently live and planned future exams. This list is updated regularly.

What if a SuccessFactors product does not have a

certification exam?

There is no certification for THR80 - Foundations of SuccessFactors HCM Academy becauseFoundations is the prerequisite for all other SuccessFactors Academy courses.

The guidelines of SuccessFactors’ previous Associate Certification program grantedcertification upon completion of the course content and final exam within three attempts inthe Learning Hub.

If the SAP Certified Application Associate exam for a SuccessFactors product has not beenreleased to the Certification Hub, certification will be granted using the original SuccessFactorsguidelines.

Consultants are then eligible to be “grandfathered” into the new SAP Cloud Certification programand will receive an email with instructions on what actions need to be taken within two months ofcompleting the required course content and final exam (listed at the end of the course content) inthe Learning Hub.

If a Delta exam is released, you must take and successfully pass that exam to maintaincertification.

It does not matter if you work through a course on the Learning Hub self-paced, or through aninstructor-led offering to gain certification.



What is the Delta Process with Certification in the Cloud?

A subscription to the Certification Hub provides access to a library of Associate-level

core exams and quarterly Delta exams with 6 attempts per each exam on a particular

product.

How do I prepare for a certification exam?

For additional information on each of the certification exams that have been released, go totraining.sap.com and search for “SuccessFactors”. Filter by “Certifications” and select your

product to view a description of the topics that are included.

If the exam is a Delta, review the materials posted to the Learning Rooms in the “Delta

Release” overview page

Hint: The main landing page of each Learning Room is an “Overview” page and there areseveral tabs to the right of that main page. The Delta Release tab is one of these additional

tabs.

Why register with Credential Manager?

Everyone who has earned a certification is encouraged to appear in the CredentialManager registry, so you can receive regular notifications of certification status andavailability of exams.

You will be notified when new Delta exams are released for products you’re currently

Maintaining Certification

What are Delta exams?

Delta exams cover any major upgrades that could affect your ability to continueimplementing that product.

How will I know a Delta is available for my product(s)?

Keep an eye on the Quarterly Release Partner/Internal Jam Groups and thePerformance Management Goal Management Learning Room for new releaseinformation.

Credential Manager will remind you if new Delta exams have been released if youhave registered.

When are Delta exams released?

Delta exams are typically released once or twice per year, depending on themagnitude of the upgrades for the specific SuccessFactors product.

Important: You must take any Delta exams that are released for the products youare certified within 6 months of the exam release date to retain Provisioningaccess.

Learning Hub & Learning Rooms

Content is updated immediately after each quarterly release, but the updatedcourse that includes new content will appear in the Learning Hub a couplemonths later.

To access the most up-to-date information after quarterly releases, review the “Delta” tabin the Learning Rooms.

For Instructor-led courses, ask you instructor where the Delta content is located in the

Jam group. New implementation and admin guides are posted to SAP Help Portal shortly after the

official release information is available to customers and partners, and is anotherresource for updated content.

Depending on your Learning Hub subscription, you may or may not haveaccess to self-assign Learning Rooms.

Only “paid” subscriptions provide access to the Learning Rooms and course content,meaning the free “Discovery” edition will only provide access to course content.




Jam Group (Instructor-led courses only)

What are Jam groups?

These groups support the course content by providing supplemental materials andsupport for each product including:

• Instructions to complete the course successfully

• Certification information

• Resource channels for implementation questions after training

• Documentation and Job Aids

• Product-specific tutorial videos

• Forums and a feed to communicate with other students and instructors and share questions

Instructors answer training questions during their business hours for the duration of a course.

Instructors do not check this group when there is not an active course, and will not be answering implementationquestions outside of a scheduled course.

What are the SAP Portals?

The SAP Portals group several resource sites together using an “S” user ID for partners.

As a partner, you should be assigned an “S” user ID during partner onboarding.

Internals should connect to VPN and click the links on the following slides to log in withyour “I” number.

Most portals link to each other so you only have to sign-in once to access all resources in

one location.

These guides should always be your first stop for questions. You’ll want to get in the habitof testing configurations in your instance, and if there are any issues, review theimplementation guide, then test, test, test in your instance again.

What is the Customer Community?

Website that customers, partners, and employees use to connect to each other, expert

support, product information, quarterly release webinars, and suggestion forums.

This site is primarily customer-facing, and customers can post admin questions about

using the products as end-users.

Customers also suggest ideas for product improvements and can “kudo” other ideas. • Ideas with the most “kudos” often make it into product roadmaps for future release builds.

What is the CLC?

This site includes customer-facing administration and Project Team Orientation

(PTO) training materials.

What is the DR2.0 Tool?

This tool allows the internal operations team to upload a file of class participants

and the tool will automatically send an email to all participants with live access

information for an instance (front-end) and provisioning (back-end).

Live access is not available for students working through the Learning Hub

content self-paced, only for instructor-led courses.

Instructor-led courses have daily check-in meetings where an instructor will demo
