Reporting On Any Data Is Easy!

In Aspen, lists are pervasive – so I want to draw your attention to a few key tools available on all traditional list screens in Aspen - on most of the screens we will find: Options, Reports, Help, Filter, Field Sets, Sort, Quick Chart, and Quick Print.

Field sets allow users to decide which fields are important to them. The Graph Paper icon allows users to switch between fields with a click.

On this screen a guidance counselor needs to see GPA and Class Rank – this is very easy to do in Aspen. With a click the screen changes displaying the information requested.

That same counselor can also click on side tabs and drill down into the student record and access more data –– here she sees the student’s attendance records.

By clicking on another pervasive tool (the Quick Chart icon – it looks like a bar chart) –the counselor sees the data in a more visually pleasing way.

Teachers can easily take attendance, manage their gradebook, and locate student information from any devise.

Scheduling Routines and data structure is flexible and allow for different types of period structures among the grade levels and even in the same school.

Aspen accommodates block scheduling, rotating block, traditional, and hybrids that may consist of a student having both types of classes.

Students and Parents have 24/7 access to a wide range of data – including attendance. Use a single family login to access academic information for all children.

Parents can easily stay informed on grades, overdue assignments, and discipline/conduct.

Transcript, Credit Summary, Grade Point Summary, Programs of Study, and Graduation Summary are also available through the portal.

Student’s personal calendar keeps students informed on class activity and extra-curricular activity.

My Resources provides a place to store/save content, both traditional and digital.

Curriculum Maps are created at the district. Content can be connected to Common Core standards and included in Lesson Plans and Curriculum Maps.

Teachers can view class Curriculum Maps in their planner.

Curriculum & Learning integrates with Google Docs.

Online quizzes can be created with answers stored in an item bank.

Data supports learning – In this report teachers can see the individual student scores and number of correct responses.

Data also shows percentage of students that responded correctly.
