The Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association (HVWTA) is a not-for-profit, membership based, local wine and tourism organisation. We focus on strong committed Partnerships to ensure that the Hunter Valley is the most visited wine and tourism region and our wine is the most recognised and valued not only domestically, but also internationally. HVWTA Partnerships are fundamental in growing and securing the future of wine tourism in the region.If you operate a business in Hunter Valley Wine Country you will directly benefit from this or indirectly from the work of the Association. On your behalf, the HVWTA along with both Cessnock City and Singleton Councils, industry Partners and Destination NSW (DNSW), delivered the Here’s to the Good Life campaign in 2018 that generated well over $2 million in marketing investment. We reached an astounding 29 million people and had an 11% increase YOY in bookings during the campaign period, lifting the profile of the Hunter Valley and business for the region. Wine tourism contributes +$502 million annually to our local economy and supports 2,800 jobs. It is our intention to build on that campaign in partnership with you and DNSW in 2019 to convert that reach to drive visitors to your business through direct to consumer and online mediums.We also work with Government to build support for our region and wine tourism businesses.
