NUMERIC KEYSUse to perform mathematical operations used for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

CURSOR KEYSAlso called the arrow keys. Use to move the cursor up, down, left and right. The key names Insert, Delete, Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down also belong to this group.

LEDSCREENPOWER SWITCHThe big button used to turn the monitor on and off.

ADJUSTMENT KNOBSThese are the buttons on the monitor used for adjusting the colour and clarity of the screen.

LEDThese are the lights seen when the monitor is on.

DOT-MATRIX PRINTERIt uses tiny dots to make a copy or image on paper. It is slow and makes loud sounds when printing.INK-JET PRINTERIt uses ink to spray on paper and prints faster and produces less noise. It also prints better than the dot-matrix printer.LASER PRINTERIt uses laser heat and powdered ink to make an image or copy on paper. It prints very fast and quietly and the printing output is excellent.

CD DRIVEThis is where Compact Discs or CDs are inserted.

CASINGThis is the metal box that protects all the parts inside the unit.

RESET SWITCHIt is the small button used to restart the computer if it encounters a problem.

devicesIt is a storage device inside the SYSTEM UNIT.USB stands for Universal Serial Bus. It is a small device where you can save data and is small enough for you to bring anywhere.CD stands for compact disc. It can hold a smaller data. 2-TYPES:

CD-R Compact Disc Recordable. It means you can write data to this CD only once.

CD-RW stands for Compact Disc Rewritable. It means you can store, erase, and rewrite data to this disc.
