This range has been designed and manufactured for typical applications in chemical & petrochemical plants, as well as oil, gas and power generation industries. This fully illustrated catalogue contains detailed engineering information, dimensional data and our part numbering system.
NOMENCLATURE Pascal Industries fitting part numbers are constructed from symbols that identify the size and style of the fitting and the material used.

QUALITY ASSURANCE The quality management system complies with ISO 9001:2000 and is verified and certified by Det Norske Veritas for the service range of Design, Manufacture and supply of Compression Tube & Precision Pipe Fittings, Instrumentation Valves and Manifolds. Det Norske Veritas has assessed and approved the quality system for manufacturing the Fittings with re-spect to Pressure Equipment Directives and have issued the statement of compliance.
APPLICATION Pascal Industries fittings have been specifically designed for use on instrumentation, process and control systems, together with equipment employed in chemical, chromatography, petroleum, power generation and pulp & paper plants.
Pascal Industries fittings are available in Stainless Steel, Monel, Hastelloy C, Incoloy, Inconel 600. Straight fittings are machined from cold finished bar stock and shaped bodies are machined from close grain for-gings. The raw materials used fully conform to the chemical requirements of one or more of the specifica-tions listed.

Heat Code Traceability For critical applications, stainless steel Pascal Industries fittings are manufactured as standard, with a unique heat code traceability number, either stamped, or etched on each individual fitting. Upon request, full material documentation is available, tracing the stainless steel back to the original cast or melt.
DESIGN / FEATURES Sizes range from 1/8 to 1-1/2. Fittings are properly packaged with exposed threads protected to ensure they are not damaged during
delivery. Working pressures calculated in accordance with Power Piping Code ASNI B 31.1, Refiner Piping Code
ASME/ANSI B31.3 section VIII of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code. Precision pipe fittings for instrumentation and process control. Fine threads constructed to ensure leak-free & reliable systems. Male threads are protected with plastic cap. Many choice of connections and configurations are available. Safety factor is 1:4
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS To ensure a leak-tight seal, Pascal Industries recommends the use of a pipe thread sealant on all NPT threads. The most effective sealing method is Teflon tape. Tape should be used only on male tapered pipe threads. Do not use tape on flared, coned or tube fitting ends! Clean both male and female tapered threads. Wrap tape in the direction of the male tapered thread spirals.
Note: Two wraps are suggested for stainless steel tapered pipe threads. Make sure tape does not over-hang the first thread as the tape might shred and enter the fluid system. Cut off excess tape. The connection is now ready for proper makeup.

INTRODUCTION Pascal Industries 15K pressure series consists of a complete line of Precision Instrument threaded pipe fittings. This range has been designed and manufactured for typical applications in chemical and petro-chemical plants, as well as oil, gas and power generation industries. This fully illustrated catalogue contains detailed engineering information, dimensional data and our part numbering system.
NOMENCLATURE Pascal Industries fitting part numbers are constructed from symbols that identify the size and style of the fitting and the material used.

Thread All fittings supplied under this specification shall be in accordance with ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 NPT (National Pipe Taper).
Standard material is high tensile 316 Stainless Steel (ASTMA-276, ASTMA-479).

QUALITY ASSURANCE The quality management system complies with ISO 9001:2000 and is verified and certified by Det Norske Veritas for the service range of Design, Manufacture and supply of high pressure pipe fittings.
Heat Code Traceability For critical applications, stainless steel Pascal Industries fittings are manufactured as standard, with a unique heat code traceability number, either stamped, or etched on each individual fitting. Upon request, full material documentation is available, tracing the stainless steel back to the original cast or melt.
DESIGN / FEATURES Sizes range from 1/8 to 1. Fittings are properly packaged with exposed threads protected to ensure they are not damaged during
delivery. Working pressures calculated in accordance with Power Piping Code ASNI B 31.1, Process Piping Code ASME/ANSI B31.3 section VIII of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code. Fine threads constructed to ensure leak-free & reliable systems. Male threads are protected with plastic cap. Many choice of connections and configurations are available. Safety factor is 1:3.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS To ensure a leak-tight seal, Pascal Industries recommends the use of a pipe thread sealant on all NPT threads. The most effective sealing method is Teflon tape. Tape should be used only on male tapered pipe threads. Do not use tape on flared, coned or tube fitting ends! Clean both male and female tapered threads. Wrap tape in the direction of the male tapered thread spirals.
Note: Two wraps are suggested for stainless steel tapered pipe threads. Make sure tape does not overhang the first thread as the tape might shred and enter the fluid system. Cut off excess tape. The connection is now ready for proper makeup.

NOTE: NPT (Pipe) Connections: NPT threads must be sealed using a high quality PTFE tape and/or paste product. Refer to thread sealant manufac-turers instructions on how to apply thread sealant. Sealing performance may vary based on many factors such as pressure, temperature, media, thread quality, thread material, proper thread engagement and proper use of thread sealant. Customer should limit the number of times an NPT fitting is assembled and disassembled because thread deformation during assembly will result in deteriorating seal quality over time. When using only PTFE tape, consider using thread lubrication to prevent galling of mating parts.
