Paso a Paso provides services and education to pregnant Hispanic families through a diverse offering of Spanish language classes and support groups. Paso a Paso Founded in 2001, Paso a Paso is a program of the Community Benefit department at St. Joseph and Redwood Memorial Hospitals that provides prenatal and parenting education, support groups, and other activities. Mission Statement Paso a Paso educates, informs, and supports Spanish speaking families through classes, home visits, hospital visits and connects clients with the resources they need. All of Paso a Paso’s services are free. With an atmosphere of kindness and respect, families discover and develop their independence and recognize their own strengths. Our bilingual staff offers practical and emotional support to the Latino community in a safe environment where feelings, concerns, and beliefs can be individually shared. Paso a Paso provee servicios a familias pormedio de clases y grupos de apoyo.

Paso a PasoFundado en el año 2001, Paso a Paso es un programa del departamento de Beneficios Comunitarios de los Hospitales St. Joseph y Redwood Memorial, el cual provee prenatal y de Padres y Madres educación, clases de padres, grupos de apoyo para mamás y para papás, y otras actividades.

MetasPaso a Paso ofrece información preventiva y apoyo en español a las familias mediante clases, visitas al hogar y al hospital, conectandoles con los recursos que necesiten. Todos los servicios de Paso a Paso son gratuitos. En un ambiente amable y respetuoso, las familias descubren y desarrollan su independencia y reconocen sus propias fortalezas. Nuestro personal bilingüe ofrece apoyo práctico y emocional a la comunidad Latina en un ambiente de confianza, donde los sentimientos, preocupaciones y creencias pueden ser compartidas.

Servicios de Paso a PasoClases: Ofrecemos las siguientes clases: prenatales, Madres y Padres, de sillas de seguridad, disciplina positiva, y adolescentes.

Grupos de apoyo incluyen: Madre a Madre, Padre a Padre, y baile terapia estos servicios se ofrescen en Eureka y Fortuna.

Referencias: Conectamos a familias con servicios diferentes programas en la communidad.

En el mes de agosto toman lugar a los picnics de Padres y al dia de campo en Wolfsen Farms a cosechar arándanos.
