MATTHEW T. LAUER Matt Lauer is the co-anchor for NBC’s Today Show. He began his broadcast journalism career at WOWK-TV in Huntington, West Virginia as a news producer after graduating from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. After working at numerous television stations throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, he was hired as a news anchor for NBC’s Today in 1997 where he succeeded Bryant Gumbel as its co-anchor.

Since his joining with NBC, he has conducted many remarkable and newsworthy interviews with many political figures, such as President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama. In addition he has covered numerous events around the world and has broadcasted several split-editions of TODAY from locations such as the Great Pyramids in Egypt, the Grand Canal in Venice, the Parthenon in Athens, the Taj Mahal in India and the Sydney Opera House in Australia. Mr. Lauer brought the Today Show to the Vatican this year and brought the Catholic Church to millions of homes with Archbishop Dolan as his co-host.

THOMAS J. FANNING, SR. Thomas Fanning, Sr. founded Heritage Strategies and is a widely recognized expert in the field of estate planning and management with over 30 years of experience. In addition, Mr. Fanning is also Co-Managing Member of Heritage Solutions, LLC and Sterling Heritage Partners, LLC. He is a Fairfield University graduate and certified estate planner that started his career within the I.F. D. division of CIGNA, a $60 billion financial services leader. Mr. Fanning also lectures extensively for major corpora-

tions, insurance companies, and prominent accounting and law firms on topics such as the implementation of sophisticated estate planning structures and strate-gic business planning techniques. He serves as Board Chairman for CMR Asso-ciates, LLC and is founder and board member for Gold Coast Bank and member of the Charles F. Dolan School of Business Advisory Council at Fairfield Uni-versity. He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for The Thomas Hartman Foundation for Parkinson’s Research , is a Trustee of St. Fran-cis Hospital and Mercy Medical Center and a member of the Chairman’s Com-mittee for SCO Family of Services.

CARDINAL JOHN PATRICK FOLEYCardinal John Patrick Foley served as Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, hav-ing previously served as President of the Pontifi cal Council for Social Communications from 1984 to 2007. As the Council’s president, he was also the longest serving head of a Curial dicastery until receiving this appointment. Car-dinal Foley has sat on various organizations including the National Conference of Christians and Jews, Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission and the National Conference of

Catholic Bishops. He has also provided the commentary for the American television viewers of the Christmas Midnight Mass from St. Peter’s Basilica, Rome.

Cardinal Foley has been awarded honorary degrees by numerous educational institu-tions such as St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, the Allentown College of St. Francis deSales, The Catholic University of America, Assumption College, Worces-ter, Regis University and John Cabot University in Rome. He was made Commander Grand Cross of the Order of the Northern Star, Knight with the Collar of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, Grand Cross of the Order of Bernardo O’Higgins and Liberator General San Martin.

PAUL AMORUSO, Luncheon ChairmanPaul Amoruso has been active in the commercial real estate and brokerage community for nearly quarter of a century and is a co-founder of CIBS. He is a licensed real estate broker in New York and Connecticut and has been involved in many notable deals, including the sale of the tract in Islandia where CA now has its headquarters and the relocation of some of Long Island’s most prominent companies, including Astoria Federal Savings,

Adecco and Pall Corp. Since the early 1990s Amoruso also has been active in acquiring and developing properties, including hotels, shopping centers and offi ce complexes across Long Island. Currently, he is building a boutique hotel in New York City’s East Village.

ROSANNA SCOTTO, Master of CeremoniesRosanna Scotto currently anchors WNYW’s Good Day New York with Greg Kelly. Rosanna Scotto started at WNYW-TV in 1986 as a weekend anchor and reporter and later in 1994, she started anchoring the weekday edition of Fox 5 News. She has presented with John Roland, Len Cannon, Lyn Brown, Ernie Anastos (on the 5 P.M. and 10 P.M. newscasts) and current co-anchor Greg Kelly on the weekday morning editions of Fox 5 News. Rosanna has been the lead female news anchor since 1990.
