Easter Sunday Rejoice! Our Lord is risen, offering us new joy and hope. By generously giving through Operation Rice Bowl, you too are offering hope to the millions who benefit from the work of Catholic Relief Services. For six weeks you have prayed for the people of Cameroon, fasted in solidarity with the people of Haiti, learned about the challenges people face in Mali, and given sacrifi-cially to create possibilities in India. Their struggles—and the efforts of CRS—are far from over. Visit www.crs.org to learn about global soli-darity, and to discover how CRS is put-ting your donations to use. Please re-member CRS’ efforts during times of famine or natural disas-ter. Together, we continue to p lant seeds of real h o p e t h r o u g h o u t our world and to foster their growth.

If anyone knows of a fellow parishioner, or member of our faith community, who would like to be added to this prayer request list please contact your parish secretary.

Bishop’s New Vision For Faith Formation And Education, Part I In order to achieve a unified, fully-formed culture of Catholicism throughout the Diocese of Marquette, Bishop Alexander Sample has adopted a new vision for faith formation and education. Through the general areas of faith formation and educa-tion for parish catechetical programs, Catholic schools, youth ministry and adult faith formation, the new vision offers “the means by which each of us can accept with enthusiasm our responsibility to share Christ – to be a people of hope,” the bishop said. “It is the time of a new future for us. We can do this together, but it starts with each of us being renewed ourselves in faith so that we can be the peo-ple that reveal Christ to the world.”
