(1.) A notico signed by tlio nfiiiiatcr must be publishcd in tho Qitrettc, and served ou tho lessco citlior persouidly or by post letter nddressed to him at tho holding six months at least before the resuinplion takes effect ;

(2.) 1110 resumptiou must, cxccpt in the C ~ S Q of the rosumptiou of laud for a public rontl, be mado to tnke effoct at tlie expiration of some year of tho tonnncy ;

(3.) The lessee may, at any time within three months after service of a notice of resumption of part of a holding, serve on the Rliiiister a notice in writing t o the effect that he accepts the S ~ I U Q as a notico of resumptiou of the entire holdin ,t to take offrct nt tho expiration o t tho then current year o f tonnncy ; and tho iiotico of resuniption slmll hnve effect accordingly ;
