Pastured Pork Workshop At Flint and Steel Farm Angela Ingraham, farmer/owner of Flint and Steel Farm and President of the American Guinea Hog Association, will be hosting a program featuring Michelle Fioco of Smith Road Farm. Michelle will provide the participants with an overview of the ins and outs of small-scale pastured pork production. Angela will have fencing displayed and will provide information on American Guinea Hogs. Nancy Glazier, Cornell Cooperative Extension Northwest New York Dairy Livestock and Field Crops Team Small Farms Specialist will be available to answer questions on pasture health, maintenance and forage selection. Date: August 15 th , 2018 Time: 6:00 pm-8:00 pm Location: Flint and Steel Farm, 250 Bassett Rd., Naples, NY 14512 Cost: $10 a person or $15 a couple Light refreshments provided. Please wear clothes and shoes appropriate for a walk around a working farm.
