    The Maryland Department ofMaryland Department ofHealth andMentalHygieneHealth andMentalHygienehas adopted regulationsrequiring all Marylandhospitals to use a uniform setof emergency security codes.

    This means the emergencycodes will be the same fromone hospital to another.

    Effective these codes will beused by all departments andunits on the hospital campusas well as hospital owned off-sites.
