SAFETY & QUALITY INITIATIVE Following up on the success of the 3rd Annual Middle East Patient Safety & Quality Congress in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD), MEED is pleased to launch a GCC wide working initiative for Patient Safety & Quality improvement.
The Middle East Patient Safety & Quality Initiative is a regional initiative to facilitate advancement of patient safety & quality in the GCC. It is o cially supported by the Executive Board of the GCC Health Ministers Council and other regional government and semi-government bodies.
The initiative has been developed due to the increased focus of GCC states on developing outstanding healthcare systems and facilities. It provides a platform (through congresses, meetings and reports) to collaborate to develop continuous cutting-edge solutions and models for patient safety & quality suitable for the Middle East.
Aim: To measurably improve the quality of healthcare and patient safety in the region and put patients at the heart of healthcare.
