Keys to living with chronic pain

● Do not wait for having no pain to normalize life, work life, leisure, moderate physical exercise ... because it could take time.

● Search solutions with common sense; cycles of rest and controlled exercise or activity, according to pain intensity.

● Know when and how pain presents

● Accept reality without unrealistic expectations.

Keys to living with chronic pain

● Do not search others to blame (doctors, relatives, colleagues at work). This only brings uncertainty about how stopping it and thinking the solution depends from others.

● Prioritize the objectives in life.

● If the pain is something we can not avoid, adapt early so it does not drive our lives.
