PAULA & STUART TINDALL (VOCAL & GUITAR DUO)

PROFILE:

An established Vocal and Guitar Duo

that have played together for over 30

years at Music Festivals, Folk Clubs,

Restaurants, Pubs and Wine Bars

across the UK. Performed within a Family band for over 10 years with daughters Sarah

and Kathryn (and still do when the girls are available), who are now professional artists

in their own right. Featured on Bob Harris's Sky Arts documentary of Fairport

Convention's "Cropredy Festival" in 2010.

In addition to performing as a Duo, Stuart is a skilled classical guitarist & vocalist and

has performed many solo gigs as a classical guitarist at weddings, Restaurants and

clubs.

Stuart plays classical guitar, steel string acoustic, semi-acoustic jazz and electric

guitars, mandolin & keyboards.

Paula plays various percussion instruments (Kick Box, Bongos, Shakers) as well as

Mandolin and recorders.

Stuart & Paula have performed as a duo in folk clubs & folk festivals across the UK

during the 1980-90s as semi professional musicians and created a family acoustic

band in mid 2000's performing at many major folk festivals in the Midlands & Southern

UK.

They have recorded 3 studio CDs (1 as duo, 2 as family band) & played hundreds of

gigs at clubs & festivals from 2005 - 2010. Also recorded & released 2 "Live"

Booked for main stage performances at Bromyard, Warwick, Upton, Bromsgrove,

Banbury, Burntwood & other folk festivals from 2005-2010

Spotted by Dave Pegg of Fairport Convention for our talents and selected to play at

2010 Fairport Convention Festival & our performance was selected by Bob Harris for

his inclusion of our song in his "Sky Arts" documentary of the festival alongside the

performances of Status Quo, Little Feat, Martin Taylor, Rick Wakeman & Fairport

Convention.

Continued to perform in family band,

when daughters were available (from

college commitments), during 2011-15 &

continued as a semi-pro solo artist &

duo at folk club, festival, pub and private

2004 - 15: Stuart performed as Classical/Ragtime guitarist in Music & Dance

productions for "Dance Unlimited" working with the deputy musical director of the West

End's "Lion King", with on-stage performances to back the dance troupe.
