FEEDING DIRECTIONS CHAMPION BEEF TEXT R30 WITH POWER BOOSTER is a complete feed especially designed for show cattle. It contains flaxseed meal to enrich supplement with Omega-3 fatty acids. Feed continuously at a rate of 6.7 to 24 pounds per head daily to provide not less than 100 nor more than 360 milligrams of monensin. Cattle should be gradually adjusted to this product to avoid digestive disturbances or other management problems. Dividing the daily ration into two equal feedings is suggested. For best results, this product should not be self-fed. Although CHAMPION BEEF TEXT R30 WITH POWER BOOSTER is a complete feed in that it contains some roughage, grain, and supplement, limit feeding approximately 10 to 15% good quality, long hay is recommended. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times. CAUTION: Do not allow horses or other equines access to formulation containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin medicated cattle feed is safe for use in cattle and goats only. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors resulting in high concentrations of Monensin has been fatal to cattle and could be fatal to goats. Must be thor-oughly mixed in feeds before use. Do not feed undiluted. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feed-ing directions as reduced average daily gains may result. If feed refusals containing Monensin are fed to other groups of cattle, the concentration of Monensin in the refusals and amount of refusals fed should be taken into consideration to prevent Monensin overdosing. For ruminant use only. Do not feed to sheep. WARNING: A withdrawal time has not been established for pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
