Paying AttentionA Crash Course in Creativity

Making it Easier to Shop
My observations this week were made in several department, grocery, and drug stores. The thing I noticed most was how different stores took time to make it more convenient to shop. Handy reminders and informative signs made it an enjoyable experience. Little things make a big difference! Here are just a few examples of how the stores are paying attention to our needs as customers!
Reminders…How many times do
you forget the reusable bags you carry in your
car? This is a convenient reminder
BEFORE you enter the store.
Information…
Why is that cashier so slow?? It helps me to
know that they are just learning a new job and
to cut them a little slack.
Convenience…
Often I shop with a list or a store ad. What to
do with it when you are done? This store made it easy with a trash can
below the checkout line. Much nicer for the
next person than leaving it in the cart!
