Remember the feeling you got driving to camp when the car suddenly left the paved road and hitthe dirt road leading to the camp entrance? In a few weeks, you and other the Camp Staff Alumni will experience that feeling again, spending a weekend reliving memories of summers at Adams Pond, Wild Goose and Parker Mountain. You are invited to share this special weekend with old friends.

CHECK INIf you are planning to arrive Friday night you will need to stop by the Camp Reservation Office on arrival. Check in will begin at 4:00pm. Tombstone and Dan Beard are reserved for us and you can park in Parking lot #2 Adams Lodge/Winter Cabin. If you are arriving on Saturday the 4th, please check in by 9:00am and meet and greet fellow staff members at the Dining Hall. Saturday Night lodging is also optional.

PARKINGParking will be in the main lot near the ranger’s house and the second parking lot. Camp is still in session, so traffic must be kept to a minimum. If you require handicapped parking or special accommodations, let us know in advance or at check in. If you are planning to bring an RV, there will be space provided in the first lot, but please let us know in advance. There are no hookups for electricity/water/sewer.

WHAT TO BRINGBring your old photos, yearbooks, patches, memorabilia, swim trunks, sleeping bag, mosquito nets, bug spray, fishing pole, flashlight, and rain gear in case of liquid sunshine. Most of all, be sure to bring lots of stories to share with your friends. If you are planning on staying in one of the camp tents, Tombstone, Dan Beard and Thunderbird campsites are reserved for us. Tents will have bunks and mattress pads. You can request a tent at check in (or bring your own).

DIRECTIONS TO CAMPAlthough many of us could drive to camp with our eyes closed at one time, you now may need GPS or MapQuest.Directions will be on the Alumni website. Some GPS unitswill direct you to Province Road which has fallen into disrepair. From Rt. 93 North, take Exit 9N to Rt. 28 north. We recommend proceeding from Rt. 28 to Rt. 126, proceeding through Barnstead to Bow Lake Road, then John Tasker Road, to the camp entrance. Your car’s suspension will appreciate it.

TAKE A LOOK AROUNDGo to the cellar, the garage, or wherever you stashed your “scout stuff” and bring it with you. We have a group ready to display and catalog camp memorabilia. Photos, staff wills awards, uniforms, patches, song sheets, neckerchiefs, camp slide shows, (or road signs that may have ended up in camp somehow). We want to scan or photograph everything to preserve the past. Start digging guys, we will tag everything so it is returned and give everyone a chance to take a look.
