OBJECTIVE

Business Blueprint document is a documentation of functional requirements and non-functional requirements of application modules to support the needs of the business areas that are included in the scope of the SAP system implementation. This document also describes the overall processes are supported by application module and detailed requirements that include functional, data, forms, reports (report), and interfaces. These needs will be based on the agreed scope of the project in the Project Charter

This document will become a base for activities of the technical design, customization and testing the SAP application modules in the PT. Latinusa, which refers to the Project Charter.

Sales & Distribution Organization Structure

Sales Distribution Organization Structure will be use to define shape Organization Structure that will handle selling goods and distribution goods to customers. That Organization Structure can be use for report analyst purpose such as product, sales report from each sales team, etc.

The Sales Organization in PT Pelat Timah Nusantara (Latinusa) will be defined one sales organization. The Sales Organization will be having four distribution channel and three divisions. Combination of sales organization, distribution channel and division will define Sales Area which basic organization structure in Sales Distribution module.

Next section will be explained more details about the organizational structure associated with SAP Sales Distribution is as follows: Distribution Channel, Division, Sales Area, Sales Office, Sales Group, Sales District, Shipping Point and Transportation Planning Point.

1.1.Sales Organization

Sales organization is an organizational unit in Logistics that groups the enterprise according to the requirements of sales and distribution. A sales organization is responsible for distributing goods and services. Therefore, it is also liable for the sold products.

Sales Organization code that will be identified for Latinusa :

1000PT Latinusa, Tbk

The reasons of one Sales Organization are defined for Latinusa are as follow:

Centralize the sales activities of PT Latinusa Tbk.

Easy to maintain master data related with Sales Process such as customer master data and pricing master.

1.2.Distribution Channel

A distribution channel is an organizational unit below Sales Organization which means through which salable materials or services reach the customer.

A Sales Organization can be assigned to several Distribution Channel.

Distribution Channel code that will be identified for Latinusa :

10 Domestic Industry

20 Domestic Trading

30 Export Industry

40 Export Trading

Reason to be used for defining four Distribution Channel in PT.Latinusa, Tbk are as follows :

Distribution Channel Grouping refers to the manner of distributing goods to customers based on the type of customers which are industrial and trading

Industry term used to direct customers who use these products, while trading for customers who do not use the product

Domestic and Export to know the type of local or export transactions

The figure below shows the Distribution Channel and Sales Organization that is used in Latinusa

1.3.Division

Division is an organizational unit below Distribution Channel.

Division represent kind or product group or service which will be sell to customer.

One Distribution Channel can be assign to several division, in line with it one product can be sell to customer using many distribution channel.

Division code that will be identified for PT Latinusa, Tbk :

20 Variant Tinplate

30 Services

Reason to be used for defining three division in PT Latinusa, Tbk are as follows :

Grouping division based on main products (Tinplate), derivative products (Variant Tinplate) and service.

For purposes of analysis report to differentiate product between Prime and Non Prime using material characteristic.

The figure below shows the relationship Distribution Channel and Division that is used in Latinusa :

1.4.Sales Area

A sales area is a combination of the sales organization, distribution channel, and division.

Each sales and distribution document is assigned to exactly one sales area.

During the processing of sales and distribution documents, the system accesses various master data, according to the sales area. This master data includes, for example, customer master data, material master data, prices, which system carries out several data that still valid.

The figure below shows the relationship of Sales Organization, Distribution Channel and Division that make Sales Area Structure in Latinusa :

1.5 Sales Office

Sales office is an organizational unit in sales and distribution which is responsible for sales within a specific geographical area.

Sales Office code that will be identified for PT Latinusa, Tbk :

Reason to be used for defining two Sales Office in PT Latinusa, Tbk are as follows :

Sales team from Jakarta will handle sales of products Tinplate, Variant Tinplate and service.

Sales team from Cilegon (Tim Limbah) will handle sales of Pup Coil, Scrap Sisa Sortir, Scrap Sisa ETL and Commisioning products

1.6 Sales Group

Sales Group represent group of sales that responsible for distributing goods in certain area. Sales group responsible to maintain certain customer.

1.7 Sales District

Sales District represent a geographical sales region.

Customer master data will be assign to sales district and will be used for sales report based on sales region.

Reason to be used for defining Sales District in PT Latinusa, Tbk are as follows :

Local sales transaction, grouped by provinces in Indonesia, while export sales transaction by continent.

For the export transaction if needed based on analysis of the state can use state information that is in the customer information

1.8 Shipping Point

The shipping point is the highest-level organizational unit of shipping that controls shipping activities.

Shipping Point code that will be identified for Latinusa :

Reason to be used for defining Shipping Point in Latinusa are as follows :

All product delivered to customer only from one Plant.

Product that delivered direct from subcont to customer will be transaction in system delivered from Latinusa Plant .

To simplify all transaction related with Delivery process will be use only one Shipping Point.

1.9 Transportation Planning Point

Transportation Planning Point is a central point in a company that plans, process and monitor shipments.

Transportation Planning Point responsible for shipment of planning goods.

Transportation Planning Point directly related to the Company Code and not associated with other Organizational Units

Transportation Planning Point code that will be identified for Latinusa :

Reasons to be used for defining one Transportation Planning Point in Latinusa are as follows:

All product delivered to customer only from one Plant, product that delivered direct from subcont to customer will be transaction in system delivered from Latinusa Plant .

To simplify all transaction related with Shipment process will be use only one Transportation Planning Point.

Shipment process in PT Latinusa, Tbk will be handle only from one department and location ( Cilegon ).

Link SD Organization Structure to Material Management

Material Management Organization Structure use plant and storage location parameter to keep goods in their location. Plant is an organizational unit in Logistics that represent location to store goods. Plant can consist one or more many storage location which more specific.

Stock from goods that will deliver to customer can be check using plant and storage location parameter to know goods availability in delivery plant location. Information availability goods will be use in Sales Distribution module to make shipping planning to arrange delivery process to customer.

To make delivery process from plant to customer warehouse, there should be link between Sales Distribution module and Material Management module. Those link connected between Sales Area and Plant, which Sales Area from Sales Distribution module and Plant from Material Management module. From that connection, Division and Distribution Channel can be used for delivery process to customer from certain plant.

Link SD Organization Structure to Financial and Controlling

The company code, within SAP, is the smallest unit made for the purpose of generating external reporting. This involves recording all relevant transactions and generating all supporting documents for the legally required financial statements such as balance sheet and profit and loss statement.

All transactions relating to the Sales Distribution can be posted to the General Ledger directly by using Automatic post that will go into Accounts Receivable. On Sales transactions, customer information relating to the Financial Controlling will be manage in level company code. This data will be used in the process of invoice based on the delivery goods to customer with the delivery order. This invoice will be posted to the Finance became open items in accounts receivable
