What is public health? Public health defined as the science of

protecting the safety and improving the health of communities through education policy making and research for disease and injury prevention.

Health problem in Bangladesh In Bangladesh health problems are very

familiar to people. There are some major health problem in Bangladesh which create a lot of disease.

Ours is a small country of 1,47,570 square kilometers with a big population of 16 cores

Communicable diseases

Over population create communicable diseases like diarrheal ,TB, Typhoid, HIV/AIDS, Dengue, Fever, Malaria etc.

MALNUTRITION “Malnutrition is a broad term commonly

used as an alternative to under nutrition but technically it also refers to over nutrition. People are malnourished if their diet does not provide adequate calories and protein for growth and maintenance or they are unable to fully utilize the food they eat due to illness (under nutrition). They are also malnourished if they consume too many calories (over nutrition).”

Drug Addiction Drug addiction is a complex brain

disease. It is characterized by habitual, a times uncontrollable, drug desire ,seeking and use that even in the face of extremely negative consequences . In Bangladesh it is a growing national concern .There are million of drug addicted people in Bangladesh and they are from all level of the society.
