PBUV plastic bodied utility vehicle binlifts | sideloaders | weighing & ID | data solutions The PBUV from Terberg Matec is ideal for the collection of Food Waste, BioWaste, Absorbent Hygiene Products (AHP) and Canine Waste where maximum payload versus body weight is essential. The PBUV body is constructed from a robust Polypropylene material to offer excellent payload benefits, will not corrode and offers robust build & safe operation synonymous with the Terberg brand. Fitted with Terberg’s TLL360 bin lift and an optional, removable pannier, the PBUV provides the ideal collection solution Integrated, compliant Emergency Stop system The PBUV and the integral TLL360 bin lift comes as standard with an emergency stop system that meets directive EN418:1992 for Safety of Machinery. Leakproof, corrosion proof body construction Constructed from robust PP5 Polypropylene, the PBUV’s body is leakproof to a height of 300mm & fully enclosed above 300mm making it ideal for the collection and transport of biowaste. The polymer body construction eliminates the possibility of any corrosion due to chemical attack or coastal sea air and at the end of its useful life, the body of the PBUV is fully recyclable. Available in 6.5 and 8.5 cubic metre volume versions The PBUV body is currently available in two volume sizes, with the 6.5 cubic metre version being suited to 3.5 & 4.5 tonne chassis applications and the 8.5 cubic metre version being ideal for applications using a 7.5 tonne chassis. Controlled and safe lifting cycle The lifter & roller track design employed on the PBUV’s TLL360 bin lift is a tried & tested design, the lifter frame is fully constrained during the entire operation cycle and containers are secured with an uninterruptable clamping mechanism. This, together with a ‘damped’ start and finish to the lifting cycle and an ‘anti-shake’ feature offer safety & reduce mechanical fatigue to both containers and equipment. Compatible with EN 840-1 containers The TLL360 lifter fitted to the PBUV offers a capable & flexible container lifting solution that is flexible enough to cope with containers from 140L up to 360L. Additionally, materials can be hand loaded into the body via the side mounted sliding hatch. Lifter raised warning An in-cab audio/visual alert device is fitted to warn the driver when the TLL360 lifter or body is in the raised position when the park brake is released. Tipping body for simple discharge of materials Terbergs own underfloor tipping gear allows simple and safe discharge of the load collected by tipping the PBUV’s body and opening the rear door.
