Welcome back to Term 3! Grants Grants We have been lucky enough to receive 2 grants from the Lantern Club this year! $5000 for Breakfast Club and another $7500 for computers! We thank the Lantern Club for their generosity and support of our school. New Day Plan New Day Plan Our change of day plan to allow 3 breaks has been working well. We have had far less problems in the playground and shorter sessions have allowed students to be more focussed. Teachers have been helping students select the right food for the right break as well. Let me know if you have any thoughts about the new day plan. Enrolments for 2020 Enrolments for 2020 If you have children who you wish to enrol for preschool or kindergarten next year, please see the office for enrolment forms as soon as possible. We would like these returned as fast as possible so we can look at planning for classes and teachers for next year. NAIDOC Celebrations NAIDOC Celebrations We were lucky enough to have Glen return and work with all students P-6 to share Aboriginal stories and perspectives with our students. Everyone enjoyed themselves during the sessions. 100 days of Kindergarten 100 days of Kindergarten Thank you to everyone who came along and celebrated this milestone with Mrs Sardis, Miss Karen and the students. It was a great celebration and a chance to think about how far our Kindy students have come! Athletics Carnival Athletics Carnival We look forward to seeing as many families as possible on Wednesday at Kentucky Reserve. Please bring along a chair (or grab one from school) and blankets as it’s still been cold during the day. After School Programs After School Programs These start next week – Week 3. Students who have been selected to participate will receive a note confirming their participation. It has not been possible for all students to participate this time around as we had so many requests.
