An invitation for you ... The Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, Manchester M3 4LQ Saturday 12 th & Sunday 13 th March 2016 Invitation & Programme Saturday 12 th & Sunday 13 th March 2016 The Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, Manchester M3 4LQ PCDS Spring Meeting As co-organisers, Dr Tim Cunliffe and I have great pleasure in inviting you to join us in Manchester for our 2016 Spring Meeting. We believe we have arranged a really exciting and informative line up. Our opening speaker on Saturday will be Dr Rob Ellis who will bring us up to date on Melanoma research. The morning then splits into two streams; 1) a general dermatology stream, with sessions on Vasculitis, Psoriasis and Drug Reactions by experts in their field, and 2) a Dermoscopy stream run by the renowned Viennese dermatologist Professor Dr harald Kittler who will give a set of 3 talks to update and refresh us on various aspects of dermoscopy. After lunch each stream continues for a further separate session following which delegates can choose from three workshops, including Dr Christy Chou providing a ‘hands-on’ Minor Ops session, Dr Tim Cunliffe speaking on Presentation Skills and myself on Genital Dermatology. The afternoon will conclude with Dr Donna Thompson enlightening us with a talk on Unusual Cases and Dr Nick Levell on ‘Red legs – is it Cellulitis?’ On Saturday evening the Conference dinner will ‘transport’ you to the Oscars, complete with red carpet, – so dust off your finery and be prepared for an evening to remember. On Sunday morning Dr Alison Layton will provide guidance on how to Rationalise Antibiotic Prescribing in Acne, this is followed by Dr Vindy Ghura with Tips on Minor Surgery and the meeting will close with Dr Nick Levell talking on his very entertaining ‘special interest’ subject – the history of Dermatology. We feel sure this meeting will be both informative and entertaining. Please put March 12th/13th in your diary as we hope to see you there.
