Knowledge Area - How To Use This Methodology

How To Use This Methodology

The method is a reference for planning, managing, and executing projects to implement an PCM solution according to the SAP approach.

This first version concentrates on the aspect relevant to the design and construction of a PCM model.

Who should use this Methodology? The method for implementing PCM projects, is aimed at experienced consultants and project managers performing the implementation of ABC/ABM project.

This first version covers also the essential prerequisite skills such as project management and knowledge of PCM software.

What should be read?

Provide the different stages and the logical sequence to build a model.

Provide the project roles, the essential prerequisite skills by project role, and some guidelines to help you to use this methodology.

This experience may come from involvement in other types of project. Consultants and Project Managers who are already experienced in implementing ABC/ABM project may also find this version useful as a quick check list or a source of example deliverables.

Ü      Project Methodology Provide a guide to the key stages required for managing a PCM implementation project. These stages are aligned with all Project Methodology suggested by our partners. But in this part, prerequisites, deliverables, process flows and activities for each phase are documented with what is specific for PCM implementation. You will find templates to help you to move forward in your project step by step.
