You can edit your profile at any time by clicking “My Profile” in the “My Information” menu on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

The Social Profile is an area that each user will have to customize their own information, access to documents or materials and view their recommendations and connections. Filling out your profile completely and accurately will help you while networking in the event.

Your profile contains your; 1. User Information 2. Personal Wall 3. About Me 4. My Communication 5. My Briefcase 6. My Achievements 7. My Connections

As you navigate the environment and participate in incentive programs and live activities, your profile updates to reflect what you have earned, accomplished, etc.

After logging into the event you will be taken to the event’s Home page. From the home page, you can visit the featured areas of the event as seen below.

1. Navigation

Access the different spaces in the event. Click straight to Sessions, Badges and the Orlando booth.

2. Toolbar You can also access all other spaces from the top toolbar.

You can return home by clicking “Home” on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

1. Clicking on the “content tabs*” will display a list of the collateral available within the space. You may access this collateral simply by clicking on information that you are interested in.

2. Organization representatives will be standing by in the spaces to answer your questions. Communicate in the chat room or click on a representative’s image to begin communicating one to one.

By clicking Orlando on the top toolbar, you will be taken to the Orlando Space.

To access further information on a session click on it on the left hand side, which will bring up further details in the space to the right of the presentation directory. From here you can view a presentation by simply clicking on the view button.

The Auditorium features all scheduled presentations that will run during the event per day. To access the Auditorium, click on Watch Sessions from either the top toolbar or Homepage.

There are many great ways to achieve points for activity inside the environment through the Achievement Badges. All achievement badges and points are displayed in the Badge Center. Here you can view the top point earners, your points, and participants for each achievement badge. A detailed descriptions of how you can achieve badges is on the right hand side. To access Achievement Badges click on Leaderboard from the top toolbar or Badges from the home page.

The Chat area It is also a great place to communicate with others in the event. Chat features a group chat, where anyone can interact.

You can access “Chat” at any time by clicking “Chat” in the “Happening Now” menu on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Play Memory Match or Trivia and see how you score against other attendees from the Leaderboard!

You can access the Games by clicking “Play Now” on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

The Help Desk is available for any technical support issues you have while interacting in the virtual event. There are helpful resources available to you such as guides and support documentation to aid in troubleshooting support requests.

Support representatives will be standing by in the spaces to answer your queries. Click on a representative’s image to begin communicating through private chat or email.

FEATURES:

• Chat – will allow you to chat in a forum

with support staff available to help assist with any support questions you may have.

• E-Mail – will allow you to email support at the alias, [email protected] should you have support questions after the live event is placed on-demand.

• Computer Tips– will allow you to view helpful resources to troubleshoot potential issues such as Chat or communication problems, security prompts, etc.

• Attendee Guide – Another place to retrieve this document.

You can return to the briefcase by clicking on the briefcase icon on the toolbar on the bottom of your screen.

The briefcase is a central location to retrieve all documents and links that have been saved from within the event. This includes all documents and links saved from partner spaces or that were provided by PCMA. By clicking on the Download button, you can download all documents listed in your briefcase, or manually select which documents you prefer to download.

There are four types of private communication: email, chat, cVard and connections. To initiate communication with other event participants you can click the “communicate” icon at the top of your screen or by clicking on the envelope located on the bottom toolbar. From here you can view received and sent emails and vCards as well as view previous, pending and missing chat sessions. Within the communication center is also the connections feature. Connections allows you to view and accept new connection requests. In addition, you can access your current connections, send new connection requests, view pending requests and see requests you have ignored in the Communication Center.

You can return to the Communication Center by clicking on the Envelope icon on the toolbar on the bottom of your screen.

Communication Notification

If you receive an email, Vcard, chat request, connection, in-event email or announcement you will be notified via a communication bubble that will display in the upper right hand corner of your screen. By clicking on the communication notification, you will be taken to the respective item. If you wish to close out the notification, click on the X as seen in the below image.

Chat Request - If you receive a chat request you will be able to accept or decline the request. You may also send a short message to the chat requester when declining a chat. Email - The notification will display you have an unread email. Click on the notification window to view. Vcard - The notification will display you have a new vCard. Click on the notification window to view. Connection - The notification will display that you have a new connection. You can click on accept or ignore directly from the request window. In-event email – The notification will display that you have a new In-event email. Click on the notification window to view or dismiss. Announcement – The notification will display that you have a new announcement. Click on the notification window to view or dismiss.

If you are involved in a private chat with an attendee or an exhibitor, you can “invite” others to join your chat. Click on the “invite” button in the chat box. Find the person you want to invite by typing their name in the user finder. Click on the user’s name to invite them into your discussion When they accept, you are having a group chat with those you invited to your conversation.

With the Social Media Suite, users can connect, collaborate and engage with others through the Twitter. The Social Media Suite can be found by clicking on the Social Suite Tab on the bottom of your screen.

Using the Twitter Component, users can Tweet from within the virtual environment and review what others are Tweeting. Using the Facebook Component gives users the ability write a comment about the virtual event on the events Facebook page.

You can use the search feature to find attendees, sponsors, documents/links and presentations/webcasts within the event. To launch the search feature, click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

You can perform a Search by clicking in the “Search field” on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

In the “Search For” field, type your search criteria. You can perform a global search by leaving the boxes checked, or you can narrow your search to attendee/sponsor users or documents/links. (Example: if the attendee and exhibitor drop down boxes state “All”, you will specifically search for these users only in the event. )

When you search for users, users that are online are denoted and highlighted in green. You can begin communications with them by clicking their name or clicking on the communication images below their name.
