o Government has the largest network of schools in the country that need improvement.

Achievements of Phase-I (2003-2007):o Developed and promoted the concept of school

improvement through Public Private Partnerships

o Mobilised Rs. 65 Million philanthropy through 21 partnerships

o Adopted 105 schools in 5 districts of Sindh; benefiting 18,500 children (Boys & Girls)

o Provided Input into the “Operational Policy Framework” for 3Ps in Education notified by the Federal Ministry of Education in 2006

o Developed an implementation toolkit “District Manual” for 3Ps in Education

Achievements of Phase-II (2013-2014):o Adopted 25 schools in Sindh; benefiting 3,400 children

enrolled in the adopted schools

o 615 new enrollments and 98 dropouts were brought back to the schooling process

o More than 2,000 Children provided with new learning materials

o PKR15 million corporate philanthropy generated for education

o 25 School management committees (SMCs) formed / activated

o 61 teachers of the adopted schools, trained

o 213 SMC members trained/oriented in their roles
