    Simple Shift is the latest breakthrough in electronicoverdrive transmission control. No laptops or expensivetechnicians are required to completely control shiftpoints, shift firmness, and torque converter lockup. Allparameters are simply adjusted with easy-to-use dialson the end of the Simple Shift unit. Complete controlof how and when your transmission shifts is at yourfingertips. Included are complete diagnostic capabilitiescommunicated via simple flashing LEDs that can tellyou what gear youre in, and whether or not your torqueconverter is locked up.

    Simple Shift is designed with knobs to calibrate shift points, shift firmness and torque converter lockup. However

    may be a customer who would prefer to use a more visual device for calibrating or desire to fine tune the TCthose customers, PCS offers PC software or a hand held tuner. The PC software provides a tuning interface toadjustments, a monitor screen to view transmission parameters, data logging, and the ability to view and clear trcodes. The hand held tuner provides all of the functionality of the PC software in a convenient package. The hantuner can remain connected to Simple Shift to serve as a gauge or be removed from the vehicle once programmcomplete.

    Product Description

    The TCM-2000 is our most powerful aftermarketcontroller. Similar to all PCS controllers, the TCM-2000features dual calibrations (sport mode, tow-haul mode,etc.), programmable shift points, shift firmness, andtorque converter lockup. Unique to TCM-2000, PWMoutputs are programmable either active high or lowsupporting a wide range of transmissions from GM,Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, Toyota, and others. The CANinterface allows seamless integration with CAN basedvehicles or ECUs. Compatible with J 1939 and otherCAN standards. The CAN connection also simplifiesthe connection to a PCS Paddle Shifter or GSM-2100

    Gear Select Module so you can eliminate the shift leverin your car.

    Appl icationThe TCM-2000 supports most conventional automatictransmissions on the market. Its user friendly yetpowerful software interface allows the user to have fullcontrol over transmission operation.

    Our user-friendly PC Windows Software allows complete control of all transmission parameters via our completely

    programmable input and output setup tables, whether it is a pulse-width modulated solenoid type or clutch toclutch type. This universal architecture also gives the user the ability to change connector pin locations andwhether the input/output is activated by power or ground, simplifying installation and virtually eliminating wiringmistakes.

    Product Description

    The TCM-2600 is designed for situations where astandalone transmission controller cannot control thetransmission directly. Newer transmissions, includingthe GM 6L80, contain the factory transmission controlmodule inside the valve body. These mechatronicvalve body designs make it nearly impossible todirectly control the transmission solenoids with astandalone transmission controller. It is also verydifficult to remove the transmission and controller fromthe factory powertrain since all of the transmissionparameters are received from other vehicle modulesincluding the engine controller, body control module,

    etc. The PCS TCM-2600 is an all-in-one solution thatwill allow the transmission and factory controller to beinstalled in any vehicle with any engine combinationand maintain a fully functional transmission. The

    TCM-2600 can also be programmed with 2 additionalcalibrations, each including shift tables and torqueconverter lockup table.

    Product Description

    The TCM-2400 is installed directly on a late model GM4L60/65/70 valve body. This internal TCM reducespackaging and wire harness complexity. On CAN-based vehicles, the only required connections to thetransmission are power, ground, and CAN. The TCMand harness are also configurable for discrete inputssuch as TPS and RPM to accommodate virtually everyinstallation configuration. The new internal harnessuses the typical 20-pin 4L70 transmission connectorwith a different pin out.

    Appl icationThe TCM-2400 is targeted for applications usingthe 4L60/65/70 transmission that require ultra-compact TCM packaging. Since the TCM is inside thetransmission, no additional vehicle space is requiredto fully control the electronic transmission.

    Product Description

    The TCM-2200 is our most robust and ruggedtransmission control module. This controller wasdesigned for vehicles where space and weight areat a premium. The TCM-2200 is sealed to an IP69Kingress protection level which enables the OEM topackage the module directly on the transmissionbelow the fording line of the vehicle.

    Installation on thetransmission greatlyreduces wire harnesscomplexity, weight,

    and cost. This alsoprovides the ability toship transmission orpowertrain packagescomplete with the controller and harness alreadyinstalled. Installation into a vehicle would only requireinstalling the transmission, and connecting the vehicleinterface connector no complicated harness to runin and out of the cabin. TCM to transmission mountingbrackets are available for some transmissions.PCS can assist in designing a bracket for a specific

    application.

    The PCS 6-speed 4L80E valve body enables the

    4L80E to operate as a 5-speed or 6-speed and provideselectronically controlled engine braking.

    The process of engineering the 6-speed 4L80E beganby studying the fluidflow diagrams of the stock 4L80E.

    The PCS engineers studied every pressure, everyorifice, every shift time, until a design was reached thatproduced factory shift quality in every gear.

    When evaluating the gear ratio steps using the stockgear set and the new valve body, it becomes apparentthat the step from fourth to fifth of 1.11 may not bea large enough ratio change for most applications.However, using the valve body as a 5 speed (skip the1.11 ratio) creates more balanced gear steps and betterdrivability.

    In situations where the gear set can be changed, PCSoffers a gear set that results in optimum gear ratiosteps for most 6-speed applications. This gear set ismanufactured using the factory process, not a weldedmodification to an existing gear set. When combinedwith an optimized gear set, the 6-speed transmission

    maintains the engine in its most efficient operatingrange, thus improving performance and fuel efficiency.Shift quality is also improved by reducing the engineRPM drop during the shift. PCS can perform simulationsusing your engine data to evaluate the optimum gearset for your application.

    While the engineers were studying the valve body,they also added a solenoid that enables electronicallycontrolled engine braking. This enables modes suchas tow/haul, and greatly increases the performanceand driving experience when using paddle shifters to

    The GSM Push Button Shifter is an

    electronically controlled shifter that offersprecise, split-second shifting capability withthe push of a button. Its slim touch pad controlmodule and compact, sealed actuator give youvirtually unlimited mounting options for tightspaces or grueling environments. The GSMreplaces the shift lever for nearly any automatictransmission.

    The GSM control module can be surfaceor flush-mounted and is small enough to fitin consoles, dashes, door panels, or even

    Inputs and Outputs

    The D200 has 8 analog inputs, 2 speed inputs, and 2 PWMoutputs. The analog inputs can be used for engine sensors, adata log start switch, or any other voltage you wish to monitorand log. All D200 inputs can also be labeled by the user for a

    customized display. The versatile PWM outputs can performa variety of tasks from an external shift light to boost control.

    The D200 communicates with external devices using RS-232or CAN 2.0b. RS-232 is typically used for communicating withmost aftermarket ECUs. The Controller Area Network, or CAN,interface is a communication protocol used for high speedcommunication in a vehicle environment that utilizes a two-wireharness connecting each device in tandem. CAN is used tocommunicate with all other PCS devices keeping wiring harnessrequirements to a bare minimum.

    Data Logging & PlaybackThe D200 is the heart of the PCS logging system. When combined with PCS data logging software, the user ito analyze all the information including multiple videos and make the correct adjustments to win at any level of r

    The PCS Boost Controller design incorporates compact

    packaging with advanced control options. The DBC-2000combines two of the most common target boost strategiesinto one extremely versatile approach. There are ten, 8x 8 point, 3D tables that can be configured for any inputor CAN parameter. Each table has a programmable trimtable and a programmable ramp rate. Each 3D table canbe staged based on time, an input, or a CAN message.

    This provides 640 target points to achieve virtually anydesired target profile. The unique packaging of the boostcontroller combines the controller, two solenoids, and apressure sensor into one compact module for a cleaninstallation.
