A Christmas Carol“Bah Humbug!”
For many around the world, Christmas isn’t Christmas without revisiting the well-loved tale
of the penny-pinching miser, Ebenezer Scrooge and the awakening of his long forgotten
festive spirit.
Drawing strongly on the theme of time, this adaptation shows that we must use our time
wisely and understand that we have but a moment to make the right choices. With time
ticking onward, Scrooge must make his life mean something before it is too late. When the
bell tolls for Christmas Day, will he have the strength to change the man he has become
over so many wasted years?
Our cast of multi-talented students, representing every year group, as well as budding stars
from our local primary schools, have rehearsed tirelessly over the last 10 weeks to bring
this ghostly Christmas classic to life.
Working alongside the actors are our amazing technical crew who have been working after
school as part of stage crew, designing, making, sticking and building, to make sure that the
set and props look stunning.
We hope you love the show and appreciate the work of our fantastic actors and techni-
cians, whose aim has been to create and perform a magical show that will lighten your
spirits and put you in the mood for the Christmas Season.
"And it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive
possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us!"
Merry Christmas!
