Custom DesignsATCO-Hunter is equipped to custom design and manufacture blast-resistant buildings to meet your most detailed specifications.
We offer both temporary and permanent applications for single units to large-scale complexes.
Our engineering team can accommodate various blast overpressures and duration levels, and design to low, medium or high response blast designs.
Protecting peopleIt’s the reality of your business – operating in hazardousareas. Whether you’re in the petrochemical business or an operator in Alberta’s oil sands, keeping your workers safe, maintaining productivity and meeting regulatory standards means you need the reliability and assurance of ATCO-Hunter’sblast-resistant solutions. Constructed and tested to the highest expectations, ATCO-Hunter offers building solutions thatkeep your employees and equipment protected.
ATCO-Hunter’s in-house engineering team can provide standard layouts or custom design solutions for a range of applications including:• Remote instrument enclosures• Control rooms• Operator shelters• Zone shops• Offices• Labs• Lavatories • Guard booths
ATCO-Hunter’s standard fleet units are designed for use at overpressure up to 8 PSI, 200ms for high response.
About ATCO-HunterWith more than 60 years of experience in over 100 countries, ATCO Structures & Logistics has been a leader in the design and manufacturing of modular buildings. With this expertise, ATCO has partnered with Hunter Buildings – a world leaderin the design and construction of quality engineeredblast-resistant buildings. Together, we offer temporary or permanent blast-resistant buildings for sale or rent across Canada and Alaska.
Not all blast-resistant buildingsare created equalWe’ve tested our buildings and we’re confident in our product. Our steel blast-resistant buildings meet industry standards, and are proven.
An independent consulting firm confirmed through field tests on a standard 8psi, 200ms blast-resistant unit, using 1,250 pounds of ANFO explosives (a mixture of ammonia nitrate and fuel), that ATCO-Hunter passes the standard for full-scale explosive testing.
