Film Screening and Discussion: "In Search of Israeli Cuisine" Wednesday, September 14th at 7:30 p.m. JCC of Mid-Westchester Scarsdale, New York Announcing a special encore screening of one of the highlights of this year's Westchester Jewish Film Festival: "In Search of Israeli Cuisine" on Wednesday, September 14th at 7:30 p.m. at the JCC of Mid-Westchester in Scarsdale. The film provides a mouthwatering portrait of the Israeli people through their food. Michael Solomonov (Zahav Restaurant in Philadelphia) serves as the viewers' guide. The screening will be followed by an exclusive discussion session with the film's Director Roger Sherman, a Scarsdale native. The program will be followed by a light reception. Signed copies of Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking, the acclaimed cookbook by Michael Solmonov, will be available for sale at the post-screening reception.
