Susanna
1. I observed the dominant shapes in the building’s courtyard.
5th Street Market: Two Dimensional Analysis
1. I drew a large graphite interpreation of a classic painting. 2. scanned, shrank, manipulated 3. colored and complied the images to create the new piece on the right.
2. I catalogued these observations in a perspective drawing that communicates each shape and its position in space.

5th Street Market: Three Dimensional Reconstruction
4. I then grouped the new shapes together to reconstuct my analysis of 5th Street Market.

2D Planes
3. From the drawing located on the bottom of page six, I chose three interesting planes to create new 3D shapes.
5. The sculpture is adujustable and has two standing positions.

Art Deco Butterfly
∫ Integral VolumeIn calculus the volume of fig-ures can be calculated by inte-grating the area infinite cross sections perpindicular to the base of the object.
This mini sculpture models a shape with a circular base and rectangular cross sections.
This sculpture has a “link-ing-log” inspired construction and contains no glue.
In this mini sculpture, I grouped three identical, assymetrical pyramids. Together they form a geometric butterfly with bold triangluar shapes and strong directional lines.

Habit Prohibiting Soft Sculpture
This project targets my habitual “ticks.” After observing myself, I noticed the majority of my odd habits involve touching my head, specifically my ears.
To solve this problem I chose a simple, yet affective design that would kill not one, but all my ticks, including those not on my head.
The cylidrical structure is inspired by the stocks historically used for display punishments.
10
Suspended Dive
This sculpture is the foundation for a performance piece in which a dive is broken into three still stages.
3D model prior to constructionRendered my group member
Our group chose to construct this piece byrepreating structually sound trapezoids at different heights. We spaced out the bases according to where the support would best suspend each person in the desired position.

Repurposed Branches
This design provides a solution to jewelery storage. Inspired by nature, aesthetically interesting, easily installed, fully functional.
Larger branches can be used as decoratively, or functionally for storing lightweight items, such as hats.
12
Costume Design: Golden Mermaid Top
I created this costume piece by building on a basic bra top.
Materials: green, blue, gold spray paint
gold glitter sequin fabric plastic shells
seashells jewels
glue thread
Back closure detail

Floral Mirror This decorative houseware was a plain, inexpensive mirror. After re-using an assortment of fake flowers, it acts as a decortive focal point and brings softness to the space.

Fishing Lanyards Rubber Tubing: for neck comfort
Supply Hooks: for scissors, pliers, etc.
Wine Corks: for fly storage
Fishermen need easy access to fishing supplies while on the river.
These lanyards allow a fisherman to carry important items around the neck.

RACKLESS? RAD DADS is here to help.
NOV 21.The Duck Store. Be there and get your bike rack!
Proceeds go to PD 101! Help the program and love your bike!
See you there, The RAD DADS
Indoor Bike Rack In PD 101, groups worked together to tackle the problem of bike storage in limited spaces.
This rack, easily wall mounted, serves as a rack and storage shelf.
The project also called for branding logos and marketing fliers.
