Reservations: 250-789-9295 Peace Island Park sees a large influx of people during the summer months. In addition, a large number of moose, bear, and other wildlife call this area home. If you are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our local wildlife during your stay, please respect that these are in fact wild animals. We ask that you keep your distance from them as they may behave unpredictably. Rocky Mountain Fort Museum and Peace Island Park General Store are open throughout the sum- mer months. The General Store has a large selec- tion of food and snacks, from milk and bread to ice cream and supplies for s’mores. Stop by and check out our selection of gifts and souvenirs. Reservations must be made by a valid credit card, money order, or cash. If payment is not received within 3 days following acknowledgment that a site is available, the site will be released. Should you need to cancel your reservation, we require 3 days notice for Island and Power Sites and 7 days notice for Group Sites. If we don't re- ceive proper notice, your deposit will not be refunded. If you have any questions or comments about Peace Island Park, please don't hesitate to call the Park Office. Keep an eye out for the horse and buggy and jump on for your free ride! Peace Island Park gate is locked from 11pm - 7am.
