AND WHEN MY SERVANTS ASK YOU, [O MUHAMMAD],CONCERNING ME - INDEED I AM NEAR. I RESPOND TOTHE INVOCATION OF THE SUPPLICANT WHEN HE CALLS

UPON ME. SO LET THEM RESPOND TO ME [BYOBEDIENCE] AND BELIEVE IN ME THAT THEY MAY BE

[RIGHTLY] GUIDED.

FORMULA TO RIGHT GUIDANCE (SURAH AL BAQARAH : AYAH 186)

We are created weak:���ن ����� و��� ا��

AND MANKIND WAS CREATED WEAK. (SURAH AN-NISSA': AYAH 28)

We areweak... weall needsupport

PHYSICALLY

- tired, fatigue, sick, ill etc.

EMOTIONALLY

- sad, lonely, depressed,

dilemmas etc

FINANCIALLY

- poor, hungry, destitute etc...

Who can supportus?

ONLY ALLAH SWT

When we feel weak, we should just

turn back to Allah SWT, and realise

that He is the only one who can

help us till the end!

And He is the one

who understands it

more than anyone!

(even if you cannot

even express it)

So call upon Him, in all the beautiful ways

INDEED I AM NEAR.

AND BELIEVE IN ME

I RESPOND TO THE INVOCATION OF THE SUPPLICANT WHEN HE CALLS UPON ME.

SO LET THEM RESPOND TO ME [BY OBEDIENCE]

THAT THEY MAY BE [RIGHTLY] GUIDED.

AYAH 186

Allah responds directly to

CLOSE TO ALL PEOPLE

THE MOST MERCIFUL [WHO IS]ABOVE THE THRONE

ESTABLISHED.

IBN MAS'UD R.A. SAID:

THRONE IS ABOVE WATER AND ALLAH IS ABOVE THE THRONE

AND NONE FROM YOUR DEEDS IS HIDDEN FROM HIM

NEAR WITHILM

"....WHO BRINGS FORTH WHAT IS HIDDEN WITHIN THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTHAND KNOWS WHAT YOU CONCEAL AND WHAT

YOU DECLARE.."SURAH AN-NAML:

INDEED, ALLAH IS WITH THEPATIENT.

SURAH AL BAQARAH : 153

NEAR MUHSINOONAND THOSE WHO

ARE DOERS OF GOOD.SURAH AN-NAHL : 128

Allah knows everyone on the

earth and every being outside

the earth, He knows

everything!

General Closeness

ان� ر��� ���� �����Indeed, my Lord

is near and responsive.Surah Hud : 61

Special NearnessFor those who invoke Him

���� ��� �� indeed I am near

IN SOLAH

IN DUASDOERS OF UTMOST GOOD

Allah is Near Worshippers & Duaa Makers

IN PRAYER

When any of you faces qiblah, he

indeed faces his Lord, the

Majestic the Glorious: the angels

are at right side.

(Sunan Abi Dawud: 480)

When any one of you prays, Allah,

the Exalted, faces him

(Sunan Abi Dawud : 479)

IN SUJOOD

The nearest a servant comes to

his Lord is when he is prostrating

himself, so make supplication (in

this state).

(Sahih Muslim 482)

STEP TOWARDS HIM

By doing good deeds, after doing

sthg wrong, when we make a U-

turn back to Allah

Allah ta'ala said "O son of

Adam, stand before me, I will

walk to you. Walk to Me, I will

run to you." (Hadith Qudsi

15925)

Sahih Bukhari : 66

Allah is Near Worshippers & Duaa Makers (Cont)

DAY OF ARAFAH

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her)

reported Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) as

saying:

There is no day when God sets

free more servants from Hell than

the Day of 'Arafa. He draws near,

then praises them to the angels,

saying: What do these want?

(Sahih Muslim : 3354)

The Day where Allah descends

upon the earth in the Day!

LAST THIRD OF THENIGHT

Our Lord, descends to the lowest

Heaven in the last third of the

night and He says,: "Who is

calling upon Me, that I may

answer him? Who is asking from

Me, that I may give him? Who is

tseeking My forgiveness, that I

may forgive him?"

(Sahih Bukhari 1094)

Imagine these questions are every

night! We should respond "I am

here Allah!"

NEAR THE CALLER

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ashari:

We were in the company of Allah's

Apostle (during Hajj). Whenever we

went up a high place we used to

say: "None has the right to be

worshipped but Allah, and Allah is

Greater," and our voices used to

rise, so the Prophet said, "O people!

Be merciful to yourselves (i.e. don't

raise your voice), for you are not

calling a deaf or an absent one, but

One Who is with you, no doubt He is

All-Hearer, ever Near (to all

things)."

(Sahih Bukhari : 2992)

Allah looks at himWhoever recites:

لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على

كل قدير

Purely from his heart, confirming with his tongue, then

the gates of heaven are opened for him. Even Allah looks

at the one who says it on the earth. It is the right of the

servant to whom Allah Almighty looks to grant him his

request.

Allah responds to our dua's

IT IS NOT WASTED!!

We can make duaa anytime! 24/7

DO NOT DELAY

3 Types of Du'as

IBADAH (WORSHIP)

SubhanAllah

The Pleasure of Allah

i.e. "O Allah make me Your

favourite!"

ISTIKHARAH(SEEKING DIRECTION)

Not sure what to do!

DU'A IS ACCEPTED AFTER ANY GOOD DEED!

Du'aa are accepted in many waysAlhamdulillah

RIGHT AWAY1.

Make a dua, and get it

immediately!

e.g: Ibrahim a.s. made duaa for

a son!

4. BETTER THAN IT

A husband who has better version

than what you wanted!

e.g. : Maryam a.s. mother

made du'aa for a son and got

Maryam a.s.!

2. STORED FORHEREAFTER

Maybe you did not get that dress

you wanted!

5. EXPIATES SINS

We sin daily! Our duaa gets

forgiveness for the sin!

3. DIVERTS A HARM

Allah averted the harm

Importance of du'a

WE ALL NEED ALLAH

Whoever is within the

heavens and earth asks Him;

every day He is bringing

about a matter.

(Surah Ar-Rahman : 29)

CALL UPON ALLAH HUMBLY

And your Lord says, "Call

upon Me; I will respond to

you." Indeed, those who

disdain My worship will enter

Hell [rendered] contemptible.

(Surah Ghafir: 60)

Making dua shows you;re

humble. And not making duaa

shows you're arrogant!

ALLAH DOESN'T MINDUS MAKING DU'A TOHIM ALL THE TIME

Not making duaa= Anger of Allah

"Indeed, he who does not ask

Allah, he gets angry with

him.”

(Sahih Tirmidhi: 3373)

Allah is Al Mujeeb��� ن� ر��� ���� �� اSURAH HUD: 61

Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive.

[We are] the best of responders.

NUH A.S. (SURAH ASH-SHUARA 118)

�� �� ا������� و�� ��Then judge between me and them

with decisive judgement and save me

and those with me of the believers."

YUSUF A.S (SURAHYUSUF : 33

He said, "My Lord, prison is

more to my liking than that to

which they invite me. And if You

do not avert from me their plan,

I might incline toward them and

[thus] be of the ignorant."

YUNUS A.S. (SURAH AL-ANBIYA:87)

exalted are You. Indeed, I have

been of the wrongdoers."

IBRAHIM A.S.

“Hasbunallahu wa ni`mal

Wakil’: حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل

Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us,

and He is the Best Disposer of

affairs (for us).”

Bukhari : 4563

AYUB A.S. (AL-ANBIYA:83)

ر وأنت أرحم ني الض أني مس

الراحمين

"Indeed, adversity has touched

me, and you are the Most

Merciful of the merciful."

MUSA A.S. (SURAHYUNUS: 88)

ZAKARIYA A.S. (SURAH ANBIYA : 89)

"My Lord, do not leave me alone

[with no heir], while you are

the best of inheritors."

ENEMY OF AFFLICTION

-Repels it, treats it and prevents

it from descending And Allah can

raise it and decrease it!

ALLAH EASILY GIVES

O My servants, were the first of you and the last of

you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in

one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give

everyone what he requested, that would not decrease

what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea

if put into it. : Sahih Muslim : 2577
