Program Overview

• Two (2) credits each year

in grade 9 and in grade 10

The Award is open to all young Canadians age 14 yrsto 24 yrs old, and has 3 levels:

Bronze (for ages 14 yrs and up)

Silver (for ages 15 yrs and up)

Gold (for ages 16 yrs and up)

Revised application process

for regional programs that

begin in Sept. 2016

• Peel District School Board elementary students did not receive term two report cards during the 2014-15 school year. As a result, the board will revise the admissions process for Regional Learning Choices Programs that begin in September 2016. No student will be disadvantaged because he or she does not have a term two report card.

• Term one report cards will be accepted for all Peel students, and for students who do not have a formal report card or summary of marks. Students from school boards that issued term two report cards or summaries of marks in writing will submit these.

• The documentation that is required will be shared during program information meetings.
