ERNET India, an autonomous scientific society under Department ofElectronics and Information Technology, M/o Communications & InformationTechnology, has been set up with the objectives to: develop, set up and operate anationwide state-of-the-art Computer Communication Infrastructure; undertake andpromote education, research & development, training and standardization in the area ofcomputer networking and information technology;' and develop options for theconsideration of the Government for the development of information infrastructure andcomputer networking in the country
ERNET India is looking for suitable personnel for filling up of the followingTechnical posts on Contract basis. The number of posts to be filled up, the mode ofrecruitment, age & the place of posting etc. are as under:-
Essential: Diploma with 60% marks in aggregate in Electronics/ElectricallElectronics& Communication/Telecommunication/Computer engineeringllTIBSc in Physics withspecialization in Electronics
Desirable: Exposure in the area of Computer Communication.
Selection: - Initial screening will be based on academic record and experience requirementwherever specified. Only Short listed candidates shall be called for test andinterview. No interim correspondence will be entertained.
1. The posts are purely on contract and do not confer any right to get regular appointment.
2. ERNET India also reserves the right NOT to fill any of the post advertised.
3. A higher start in the monthly remuneration may also be considered depending on thequalification and experience of the candidate.
4. Interested candidates possessing the above qualifications and experience may apply inthe prescribed format (Annexure-I). The applications must be supported by copies ofcertificates relating to educational and technical qualifications, date of birth, experience,category (SC/ST/OBC) & one recent passport size photograph, indicating the name of thepost applied for on the envelope. Applications along with copies of required documentsmust reach the Registrar & CPO, ERNET India, Jeevan Prakash Bldg., 10th floor,Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi-llOOOl by 06.03.20l3.Incomplete applicationswill be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be made.
5. Candidates applying for all the posts must enclose Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favourof ERNET India, New Delhi along with the application. However, SC/ST candidatesare exempted from the fees.
6. The candidate must ensure that he/she fulfils the educational qualification & experiencecriteria as on the date of publication of the advertisement.
7. The candidates who are already working in Central Govt. /State Govt. /PSUs/Autonomous Bodies must submit their application through proper channel alongwith attested copies of ACR Dossiers for the last five years and Vigilance/Disciplinaryclearance certificate failing which their candidature will not be considered.
8. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. The Officer onceselected shall not be allowed to withdraw his/her candidature at a later date.
Note:-i) Govt. Orders regarding age relaxations to various categories of candidates will beapplicable.ii) Mere fulfilling of requirements as laid down in the' advertisement does not qualify acandidate to be called for test/interview.
iii) For meeting the eligibility criteria the relevant experience will be counted from thedate of passing the essential qualification required for the post to be filled up.
iv) Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
The appointments will be for specific projects. The appointments will be co-terminus withthe duration of the projects. However, the appointments will be for a maximum period ofTwo years subject to performance of the individual to be reviewed at the end of first year.
