The project was executed in conjunction with TRADECO and included the fabrication of the platform extensions, spool pieces and other structural elements at the onshore fabrication facilities at Ciudad Del Carmen. STG set up a logistic office at Ciudad del Carmen for the execution of the project.

Engineering works included the installation engineering of the pipelines, spool pieces, platform extensions and integration of the E&I work into the existing platform systems.

Procurement was quite significant in relation to the overall execution schedule

Project information

of the project and the critical lead-times. Among others the lead-time on the pipeline materials, control valves, pig- launchers etc. was crucial to maintain the program.

The vessel, Jascon 34, transferred from West Africa to the Gulf of Mexico was employed on the project both for the pipelay as well as for the construction works.

In principle the platform extensions were constructed and installed after which the pipelines were installed, hooked-up simultaneously with the further installation of the topside equipment. The integration of

the ‘new’ facilities with the existing platform systems was completed after which the overall system was pressure tested and pre-commissioned.

The offshore campaign was completed in February 2014.
