1. Pick an issue

2. Mentally and emotionally get back into it

3. Complete the sentence: “It is ...”(as many times and as quickly as you can)

4. Stop when the 'well runs dry' or you start repeating yourself.

5. Work through the list, repeating the sentence out-loud, giving each item an intensity score.

6. Repeat the same process for “He/She/They are ...” and “I am ...”

7. Choose the most intense statement, start tapping

8. When you have neutralised one statement re-score the remaining items, then start tapping
on the next strongest statement.

9. Stop when the issue seems resolved to you.
