    COMPANY PROFILE

    In the year 1987 Mr. C.J. George and Mr . Ranajit Kanjilal foundedGeojit as a partnership firm. In 1993, Mr. Ranajit Kanjilal retired from the

    firm and Geojit became the proprietary concern of Mr. C .J. George.

    In 1994, it became a Public Limited Company named Geojit Securities Ltd

    came in to existence.

    Company was listed at The Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE) in the year

    What is a mutual fund?

    A Mutual Fund is a trust that pools the savings of anumber of investors who share a common financial goal.The money thus collected is then invested in capitalmarket instruments such as shares, debentures and othersecurities. The income thus earned through these

    MUTUAL FUND

    CLASSIFICATION Open-end Funds

    Open-end funds are available for subscription all through the year.

    These do not have a fixed maturity. Investors can conveniently buy

    and sell units at Net Asset Value (NAV) related prices. The key

    feature of open-end schemes is liquidity.

    Closed-end Funds

    A closed-end fund has a stipulated maturity period that generally

    ranges from 3 to 15 years. The fund is open for subscription only

    during a specified period. Investors can invest in the scheme at thetime of the initial public issue and thereafter they can buy or sell the

    units of the scheme on the stock exchanges where they are listed.

    In 2005 the sensex growth was up to 34% .In this year DSP

    BLACK ROCK TOP 100 EQUITY FUND

    Performance was up to 49%. So this mutual fund gave 15%more growth advantage to those who invested in it.

    In 2006 the sensex growth was more than the previous year .Ithad a growth of 47%. DSP BLACK ROCK

    TOP 100 EQUITY FUND grew up to 42%. In 2007 thesensex grew up to 40.7 % less than that of the previous year.DSP BLACK ROCK TOP 100 EQUITY FUND grew up to57.8% in this year showing 17.1% more

    BS E & BIRLA SUNLIFE EQUITY FUND-GROWTH

    Birla sunlife equity fund is one of the top performing funds in themarket. In 2005 the sensex growth was

    up to 34% .In this year Birla sunlife equity fund Performancewas up to 60 %. So this mutual

    fund gave 26% more growth advantage to those who investedin it.

    In 2006 the sensex growth was more than the previous year .It

    had a growth of 47%. Birla sunlife equity fundgrew up to 41% . In 2007 the sensex grew up to 40.7 % less than

    that of the previous year. Birla sunlife equity

    fund grew up to 58.1% in this year showing 17.4% moregrowth .

    In 2008 the overroll market trend was bearish & the sensex felldown to 7697.39 points.sensex

    growth Percent fell down to -56%.. Birla sunlife equity fundgrowth came down by-55.2 %.In 2009 the

    sensex growth came up to 74%. In this year the mutual fundgrew

    up to 96.8% that is 22.8% growth more.

    BSE & ING CORE EQUITY FUND GROWTH

    . In 2005 the sensex growth was up to 34% .In this yearING CORE EQUITY FUND Performance was up to 55

    %.So this mutualfund gave 21% more growth advantage

    to those who invested in it.

    In 2006 the sensex growth was more than theprevious year .It had a growth of 47%. ING CORE

    EQUITY FUNDgrew up to 29.9% .

    In 2007 the sensex grew up to 40.7 % less than that ofthe previous year ING CORE EQUITY

    FUND grew up to 55% in this year showing 14.3%

    more growth . In 2008 the overroll market trend wasbearish & the sensex fell down to 7697.39 points.sensexgrowth Percent fell down to -56%.. ING CORE EQUITY

    FUND came down by-55.6 %.In 2009 the sensexgrowth came up to 74%. In this year the mutual fundgrew

    up to 83.7% that is 9.7 % growth more.

    perspective.

    have someone managing your money professionally. So mutual

    one year is hundred percent tax free
