    Test Methods: Testing was completed as described in ASTM E 1592-01 & -05: Standard Test

    Method for Structural Performance of Sheet Metal Roof and Siding Systems by Uniform Static Air Pressure Difference.

    Sampling: Central Span™ panels, clips and fasteners were supplied by Central States

    Manufacturing, Inc. from Lowell, AR. All other materials were provided by PRI-CMT and purchased through local distribution.

    Test Specimen: Specimen #1: Triple Lock at 2ft. oc

    Roof Panel: Central Span™; flat pan, 2” vertical mechanically seamed Structural roof panel; Fy = min. 50 ksi; 16 in. installed coverage; 90° mechanical seam.

    Fasteners/Clips: VSRLCLIP, 2-Piece Floating Clip (16ga. steel base; 22ga. steel tab) installed with two (2) ¼” - 14 x 1 ¼”. Hex Head, Drill Point (TEK 3) screws at each intermediate support along the panel seam.

    Structural Supports: 16 ga. “Zee” purlins at 2ft. o.c.

    Specimen Sealing: Polyethylene film; tape1
