Applied Arts: MUSIC (TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS)

We are very fortunate to have the support of the PVA program and Anne Arundel

County Public Schools to pair our PVA musicians with the best performers and

teachers in the Annapolis, DC, Baltimore region. The Applied Arts music lesson

program as provided to our PVA students is unique to the PVA program.

Your PVA Applied Arts music lesson is a required core component of the PVA program

and the knowledge and work done in your weekly lesson will be what supports your

work throughout the rest of the program, including recitals, juries and other

associated performances.

Your lesson each week is your prior commitment and takes precedence over any other

school or non-school related activities. It is the student's responsibility to plan

activities around their weekly lesson and to communicate to any coaches or sponsors

this weekly commitment.

It is critical that you are in attendance and prepared for each week's lesson so that

you can continue your musical growth and progress.

Mr. Dembowski, PVA Music Department Chairperson, will schedule your

Applied Arts music lessons.
