May is a busy month at Pershing Hill. Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week

is May 7 – 11. Please take a moment to thank the hardworking educators

who do their best to support our students. A simple note can make all the

difference. Interims go home on May 11th. If you have any questions about

your child’s progress, please contact their teacher.

The PTA is sponsoring their final Book Fair of the year from May 14 – 18th.

We will be hosting a S.T.E.A.M. Night on Wednesday, May 16th from 6:00

– 7:30 p.m. We hope you can join us for some fun science, technology,

engineering, art, and math activities. The Book Fair will also be open

during STEAM Night from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Our band/strings concert is Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:00 p.m., and the

chorus concert is Wednesday, May 30th at 6:00 p.m. We look forward to

seeing our talented students perform!

“Screenagers” is an award-winning documentary film that explores social media, video

games, and the developing brain. The film offers solutions on how we can help our

children safely navigate the digital world in which we all live.

The movie is free, but we need everyone who plans to attend to RSVP and reserve your

spot using this link:

Students aged 10 and up are encouraged to attend with their parents; however,

parents/teachers/community members with younger students are also encouraged to

attend. Families are encouraged to view this film together.
